What are people running for sizes on stock rims?

I want to stay with an off road tire, stock wheel, and a stock ride height.

Let me know my options other than the BFG's, I have a set of those already...looking for something more aggressive.

Another question.

315/70 - 17 is the same as what in an inch format?
I know it is width/height/rim size and that is about it.

Option one on Google (worth checking against other calculators):

Thanks Rodster!

I found that too - but what would I do? Get a 35X12.50?

Exactly. Case in point, 35x12.50x17 Toyo Open Country M/Ts:

Yowzuh. That article on the HXC site is really helpful -- gives the ups and downs and specs on most of the popular options.

Drop Phil or Seth a line. I'm sure they'd welcome the chance to talk with you about it.

Still waiting on the painted rim pictures in the other thread . . . looking great so far!

Sad isn't it? I'm well past the nerd stage and headed toward over-the-hill geekhood. Heck, I even have to Google the -izzle words just to keep up! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Me too.

Who said Yowzuh anyway?? I can hear a cartoon saying it but I can't for the life of me picture who it was. It was kind of nasally and a New Yorkish accent. It's killing me!

I googled it and it seems to be a hip-hop type of word now. Good for you Rodster, you know more than me. I guess I'm the nerd (big surprise http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif (chuckle snort snort)http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Yowzuh is a hip-hop word!?! That's news to me. Delete THAT one from the vocabulary!

I Googled - yowzAH cartoon rooster - and, well, it wasn't pretty. I had not idea people did that stuff to animals!
