What's up with this? Yes, it's modeling ... but why? Pre-production design or post-production artist with a lot of free time?
30+ more drawings here (worth looking at IMHO): http://www.furo.sk/hummer/
One example...

pretty cool!
I agree on the "why" factor. Maybe they are for a toy company, or maybe it is for a art project!
Over all, I think it looks pretty slick! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I like those tires! They look even more badass like that!! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
Holy high-res!

I googled Brian Ellebracht (http://www.simply3dworld.com/interviews/brian.shtml) and found this:
<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content"> Brian is known on this site and throughout many others for his incredible detailed modeling.
His work has been featured on many 3d sites and he has recently won an award on cgtalk for his jeep composition.
</div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Incredible work, anyone who works in 3D knows just how sick the details are.

That is some serious detail. Having an 3D animation background I can really appreciate the detail and work that went into these. Have to be for a pretty specific project but incredible work.
This thread is terrible and NOT what the title lead me to believe was here! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif
