Removing Mirrors 03 H2

I'm wanting to replace my Chrome mirrors with a set of black ones.

Is it easier to simply pry off the covers, or replace the entire mirror.

Where do i begin removing the inner door panel?

I can only see 1 tiny Phillps head under the door latch.

Do the covers or go whole hog and replce them with '06 mirrors.http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

We replaced the chrome covers with black ones.
