I want to see how many Hummer owners were in the Central Florida area and would be interested in joining the Hummer Club Orlando (http://www.hummercluborlando.com/). The club and site are something that I started working on months ago and just have not had the time finish up. I am open to all comments and suggestions. Right now I am not looking to charge any dues for membership unless we decide we are going to do shirts, hats, decals or something like that. I would love to get some interest in doing some group runs to Ocala or any place you might know of. Now that I have my Hummer, I am itching to go get it dirty..

I'm in Orlando and would be interested in possibly doing some stuff. Although I don't like to get my h3 dirty :P cause I can't find a car wash. But I'd do some stuff....

Ok, got one person interested, where are all the other CFL members. If I show you where a self server car wash is, will you get it dirty with us? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Yeah I would go get it dirty with you guys. The only offroading I've done has been on my gator, and I messed that up pretty bad, and flipped it! So I'm not sure what to expect, but I'd check it out.

There are a number of forum members going up to Tellico in Murphy NC from March 9th - March 13th. I am planning on driving up on the 10th and coming back on Monday the 13th if you are interested in caravanning. Mapquest put it at about a nine hour drive from here.

Have not made it out there yet. Was hoping that the dealerships event out there would be in May but it isn't looking like it is going to happen then. Been trying to find trail info for out there but not finding much. We need to setup a run out there.

I had no idea the dealership was planning something. I've only found basic information on the place, I'm sure you've seen it all already.

I found some pics of other vehicles going through ocala, here (http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/wxstud/slideshow2?.dir=500e&.beg=0&.src=ph)

Looks quite challenging. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif But still would be fun, plus they have a public riffle range, if anyone else is interested.

The guy in the yellow seems to get stuck a lot http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I know that there are actually some challenging trails out the, just have not found them. Came across some pics that actually had rocks on the trails. I didn't think there were any rocks in FL http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Just need to get out there. I am sure once we are there, we can find the good stuff.

Hmm... need to get Hummer Club Orlando going, get a group and let's go! Do we need people with winches and trail repair knowledge you think?

I wouldn't go without recovery straps but not having a winch along wouldn't stop me. Would be nice to go with somebody that knows the trails though. Was going to go up there with some Toyota guys a couple of weeks ago but didn't end up making it. We definitely need to get something set up soon though, I am itching to get out there.

We probably need to get in contact with the Florida Four Wheel Drive Association to find out more info.

Would you go with the Toyota guys if they are going sometime soon, or did you want to try to get just a Hummer group?

I would go with the Toyota guys but would prefer to have at least one other truck along that I knew. The Toyota guy that we ran the trails with in Tellico recommended the site where I found these guys and they all seemed real nice and welcomed having a Hummer along. Not sure I would have been so ready to go with them if it were a Jeep club though.
