Let me see if I understand correctly. Take a loaded Hummer, add tires and rims, lower the suspension, put on a blower,re-paint it and install a great A/V system and then try to sell it for 25K more than you have in it? Am I missing something?

I build My own BLING Mall Queen. Do it for allot less and even change the look when the urge strikes and even after doing it 3 times in one year I still have lots less in My 2005 Superchargered or next week SC'd Mall Queen.
I need to figure on how to get in on this stuff.
Besides if I'm was going to offer one for sell I think I would have:
1) gotten to know some folks on here for awhile by offering helpful tips and advice before immediately going into the vacumm salesman mode.
2) I would have noticed there was a
For Sale Section where forum Members can go to see something for sale, if interested.
Oh well that's just Me I do things weird anyway You Guys all know that.
I'm done, somebody else take over now.

Hate to say it...but there is an ass for every seat. He might not get 100K this time, but if it is on there long enough he might get close to that with some Hollywood that does not know any better, and has more money than brains. What the heck...not even LCD screens in the rear seats? come on!

I really think it needs a lot more chrome and an escalade front end before any member on this board would even consider buying it.

05 h2 retail out the door... 72k out the door
6500 in wheels & tires
6500+ in blower
6k+ in paint (yes, the paint is all the way through the door jams and such)
8k+ in a/v
1500+ in suspension
and then a bunch of other goodies that added another few thousand. Not to mention the time it takes to have this all done.
I understand this isnt what most of you "mudders" are looking for. But its exactly what someone else IS looking for. And the price is very, very right on

You actually paid that much for an H2? Or are you wanting to make money on the vehilce itself? A loaded 05 stickers at 62K'ish. Where did the other 10K come from? And who really pays sticker?
The other assorted costs look to be within line except the "other goodies" for a "few thousand".
I agree with JohnB on the Escalade front clip. It is a must for this "show" vehicle.
Will it sell? Of course it will. For the asking price? I have my doubts. But, to pimp the unit here is looking with the wrong crowd. The website you need to advertise in is a "Playa's N Hataz" site.

Well Gang You know I have trouble keeping My mouth shut but, Your tolerate and that is what makes us Buddies. I have been very greatful to the many who have been concerned with My health and taking Up for Me if someone Me jumps on this board.
MY checkup was fantastic. Hemoglobiin at 13.5 and platelets as well as other vitals are great.
Doc was happy and said just keep on doing what I have been.
My next goal is to add weight. I would like to be at 165 or 170 lbs.. I'm at 148 with all My clothes on. Does anyone have a recommendation for a weight gainer suppliment I could try. I try to eat just junk to gain but, the malabsorbtion problem with all the GI stuff removed is really hindering My ability to gain. Doc said that He could see I was happier and more light hearted since a year ago when they opperated on Me. I told Him it is easy to be happy if Your not going into the hospital all the time.
I also have filled allot of My time with the H2. I know it is expensive medicine but, having My Baby has really helped My happiness level, plus having found this forum. Not trying to be a gushy but, I want to thank everyone on this Forum for the time You have allowed Me on here and all the PM's I have gotten. Some have stayed in touch allot more than others and You know who You are so, Thank You. This Forum has just become My second family and valuable to Me. I hope I never do anything to mess it up. If I make a mistake please PM Me so I can correct it.
I need more weight to fill out My face etc.
Any info would be so appreciated. The Doc has a dietician on duty but, the Cancer patients need her so bad I do not take up Her time with Me. If I see Her that is one less cancer patient that She sees that day.
tower I thought maybe You may be able to help.
Please anyone with good experinces with a product and not been told this is good but used it or know an immediate family member or freind who has used. I want to try somethng You know works.
Now on the price of the rig for sale I paid a little more for Mine since I got it last June 1 2004 and they were no incentives or anything and it being an 05 year they did just not have discounts so it took more wheeling and dealing. I got it loaded without nav and it listed $67,900 but, paid $55,500 if i remember correctly. there are some who have gotten an H2 more recent and paid $51,000 giv or take either way. I do not see how You can go and pay $75,000 with fuel like it is and market is slow for H2 right now because of the gas prices. Most dea;ers a dealing very hard to get a customers business.
Well most of the guys here are mudders or rock climbers but, there is a small group of Mall Queen owners who go with the Bling. I probably bling as much if not more than normal. With what I have spent and sponsors have provided I have about $70,000 in My Girl and that is rough since I'm going on memory. Have not kept up with investment since I did not want to chicken out knowing what was being spent and I could never get for it what Zi had in it anyway so it was not important. This amount also includes most of the labor I paid to have some things installed by professionals with Me doing the easy stuff like changing out the front and rear bumpers to chrome.
Well help with weight problem if anyone can.
Thanks

Taz,
Hey buddy hope you're OK. This thread sucks ass anyways so some weight gain advice here is OK. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
My youngest, Tyler is a 2 year old teddy bear with a 1 year old's body. He's lived half his life in Children's Hospital.
Doctors tell us to give him Ensure, Ice Cream, Lots of water, beans, 1 egg. And basically anything protein.
I eat along with him so I'm starting to look pregnant. I'm not sure if this diet is for you, but it can't be the easy route of junk food/fast food.
I also find drinking 6-7 glasses of water a day really plumps you out. Not many people know it, but most of us don't take in enough water daily. When your body retains water, you actually look like you've gained weight.
Watch the fatty steaks, always lean meat. Don't choke it. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
Do some mild to moderate excercizes, walk, light weights.
BUT ASK YOUR DOCTOR. MY ADVICE IS NOT PROFESSIONAL. JUST RECOMMENDATIONS from a friend.
What was this thread about again? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Hey Taz,
I have to emphasize how important Dennis' comment on the water is. It's benefits are incredible - from your synovial fluids, to digestion process, to skin ... pretty much every function.
Ensure is good and so is Carnation Instant Breakfast. They provide vitamins also. Lots of starchy foods (i.e. potatoes and bread). The whole grain variety bread is the best for you and it can't say just whole wheat- make sure it says whole grain. Sweet Potatoes are great because they are high in vitamins as well.
Most of all, stress is awful for your body so do whatever you need to to relieve the sources and be true to your needs. Positivity works wonders in all aspects. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Taz,
Regarding the weight gain issue - I have had good results using "Met-Rx." It is a meal replacement supplement that can be found at most sports nutrition stores or online. I would not replace a meal with it, but use it in addition to your normal meals. You will probably want to eat five or six small meals a day. Eat something (preferable something with protein in it) every two to three hours. Remember, the Met-Rx can be used as an on-the-go meal. Also drink plenty of water!
Make sure you check with your doctor first, but the Met-Rx has worked for me

I love this thread! I just spent five minutes reading all the replies and ROTFLMFAO.
Todd, sorry if you got you a$$ kicked a little. This may not be the site for peddling rolling jewelry.
Now for more important matters.
Taz, all the items mentioned are good. Water is also great for those trying to lose weight, so be careful. If you wash out your minerals and vitamins, you'll need to replace them. Lots of water IS healthy, but DO replace what you wash out.
Macadamia nuts are a favorite treat of rock climbers. These guys all look cachectic and must carry everything they need straight uphill. So nutritional value/weight is paramount. Macadamias have the highest fat content of any nut (except me, of course) known to man. They are also available in the chocolate covered variety (Mmmm-mmmm!). Met-Rx, ensure, any of the nutritional boosters are great, BUT, you must find stuff that you enjoy and graze on food all day. These exact same supplements can be used for weight loss. So you must try to find formulas that do not diminish your appetite. And you must force yourself to eat even when you are not hungry (which for you, may be all the time.)
You can’t go for hours installing a SC or HUD while forgetting to eat. So, you might consider getting a cheap watch, which can be set to sound an alarm every hour or every two hours so as to remind you to eat. But of course, YOU MUST STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND HEED THE CALL TO EAT WHEN YOU HEAR IT. (I may know you better than you think!)
If all else fails, move to Los Angeles and spend a lot of time with my Jewish mother. You won’t get away from her without getting stuffed! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks everyone for the advice. My Doc said what tower and Co-pilot was talking about. Dennis He did recommend allot of protein like you mentioned to prevent the muscle from basicly consuming itself if I'm playing sports or active outside stuff in the heat. Then he said but, You cannot get enough carbs so do not be afraid of those. They will be a quicker fuel to help muscle retain and take in the protein. I told Him good grief Doc I'm going to have to hire a dietician to go around with me all the time. He laughed and said just take everything We talked about and balance it out equally leaning a little more to carbs. Ok I can understand that. He did say that I need to find a weight gainer drink. I mentioned the ensure type products bt, He said He does recommend them to a normal digestive system but, I need something more radical. Those are more tame than imagined but great for the elderly or children who can absorb but, need to do it more slowly and carefully. Doc said I needed an IV bag of calories to wear around My neck.
There is a guy who helps the pro sport guys in Little Rock and yes We do have some pro sports here. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif AFL 2 called the Twisters. We have held the attendance record for the league since it started about 4 or 5 years ago. We love football here in the south. But, anyway he helps them and another pro football team, basketball, hockey (which shocked the heck out of Me that it could last here but, it has).
He told me tell this guy He sent Me and He could help but, He is gone for the week. So hopefully I'll catch Him next week. I'm going to try and be careful this weekend. I have to Ump a 3 day girls fastpitch tourney with 3 Umps per field. 2 games on 1 game off if there are enough qualified plate Umps, which in Jacksonville, AR they are 3 and I'm one of them. We are bringing in Umps from around the state hoping to get more plate qualified guys or gals. It is supposed to be cooler here this weekend so that will help.
Doc wants Me to exercise but, I have to be careful because that can kill appetite in some. I told Him I'm very active and not changing that. I just got to find a way to fuel the engine. My problem now is that the tecture of some things just will not stay in Me to put it nicely. He said I just about could not eat anything that would hurt unless it surpressed My appetite of which I have none. I'm getting better about watching the time tower. It is so easy to get busy and look up and it has been 8 hours since I had something. I Love Baby Ruths so Doc said to go ahead and carry the mini ones around to eat as long as I'm taking My childrens chewables twice a day. I get vitamins IV mostly but, He said they have found that in My situation that there is something about the saliva mixing with the chewables allow them to be absorbed when no others will that You just swallow. They looked into liquid vitamins but did not mix with saliva enough. Somehow the chewable attaches to the saliva and prepares it to absorb. They figured it out with chemo patients who lose appetite bad. He said he wished weed was medically legal it is the best thing He has seen for appetite loss in the studies they do for cancer patients. But, He said it has such a bad stigma to it but, it could be so helpful for chemo patients. He said boy if i could prescribe that it would save allot of trouble the patients have. I know that is not a very scientific explanation but, heck I do not understand allot of this mess anyway. He said the same thing that can help You gain weight can cause loss if used wrong. I'm a little worried about summer with all the ball and Umping, not counting working on My Baby. He said I have to increase water but if to much i will negate the vitamin and mineral gain. He said switch back and forth between water and sport drinks to hopefully balance it out. I have never used sport drinks much so I'm behind the curve there. So recomendation would be useful there for sure. I am from the old school in sports from football days. Drink allot of water and live off salt tablets. Sometime I would get carried away figuring if a little was good allot had to be better. Man talk about sick from to much salt. YUUUUUUCK!! He said using either one to the extreme would not be good with malabsorbtion. Well anytime someone thinks of something or runs across something PM Me and let Me know so I can look into. I almost forget Doc did absolutely recommend the Macadamias nuts. I love them so i got to get out and get them. I had forgot about them because in My head I always looked at them as fattening so now they are a good thing. O BOY!!!
Thanks Gang

Taz,
Gatorade was designed for pro football players and is as good as anything out there for your purposes. If you can't stand the taste of salt, cut it to 50% with water. Then keep sipping all day long!
As far as marijuana goes... the phenomenon is known as "the munchies." It is well documented. Now I am a ski patrolman and, as such, would not advocate your breaking any laws. But I think you must consider, why your doctor has told you the following:
“I wish weed was medically legal. It is the best thing I have seen for appetite loss in the studies they do for cancer patients. It has such a bad stigma to it. It could be so helpful for chemo patients. Boy if I could prescribe that, it would save a lot of trouble the patients have.”
I believe your physician was making a suggestion here. I believe he was advocating certain steps that might make your efforts to gain and maintain weight a lot easier. You might want to consider this seriously.

Nice lifted rig. It would not work for most of these guys they spend allot of time offroad. They use an H2 for what it was designed for unlike Me. I just bling and show it. All these guys are good at offroading and would tear that lifted monster up. They meet at MOAB and PARAGON several times a year when not out running the rocks and mud loccaly. I would put them up against most anyone on the knowledge of offroading as well as just designing and building what ever they wanted an H2 to be. I have always been considered smart but, most of these guys know things and use words I have never heard. Most are very successful business owners and professionals who earned what they have. So to imply anything like trailer guys, not that there is anything wrong with ownig or livig in a Mobile Home. I know very good people who live in them so they can do the smart thing and not pay rent. This way they end up with something they own or at least is theirs. It seems unfair considering the back and forth picking going on. I may have missed it but, I did not see an attack on Your living arrangements or personal habits.
Now for You to come here and immediately try to sell something was a mistake and acceptable. You received no treatment different than anyone esle who has approached this forum in the same way without getting to know the people here first. There are people on this forum that some conversions that are as good as any and that is their lively hood. They respect the forum sponsor Jason and his Hummer acc. business that carries this forum. So they do not push their business stuff here concerning Hummers unless it is something Jason does not handle. If they did want to sell something here they would contact jason to get permission but, mosre so ask Him to participate in the profit model of what ever business was asked to condust here.
But, these are My friends and You refering to any of Us as trailer park guys is not appropriate. Unless I missed a response or 2 they have talked about the bling rig as have I. I Love bling but, as i mentioned i do my own and others if they want My help.
I have not seen them implying Your from the wrong side of the tracks or whatever other stereotype can be called upon to sling aroud.
I'm sorry things got off wrong as I think You have allot of nowledge that could be used as is done here first and foremost. Help each other with new ideas. that is what this forum is about. I hope that perhaps things can be corrected and you can participate as a respect member and go off on long term offroading trips. i would respectfully suggest that You hang in here and get to know us and help. Not sell us somehting. Most that do become a part of the family end up getting Our business without asking us if it is something that Jason does not have. I do know if we find something and he does not have he will try to get it in the store for us or get us a group buy.
I could see where You could fit in and be a help. I guess it is up to you if You would olike more than a business relationship and try to turn it into being part of Our very big family.
Well just my take and that and $4 may be able to get somebody a fancy cup of coffee.
Hope things will turn around.

Your first post on here was about buy my truck (should have been posted in the classified section) but was about posting your business to make money. Great idea, but contribute to advertising and there may be things you can do with your company through the site. Posting this way will only... well you already see what happens. You have some very unique rides that your company has built or helped build, some very ugly crap too http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif.
Good luck getting rid of that lowrider H2. I'm sure you will find a buyer for "IT", but more than likely not here.
I'd keep the trailer park attitude to yourself though. I highly doubt you will like the outcome. good luck....

Didnt come on here to sell our company or products. Just came to spread the word on this truck. I see how some of you take it as advertising, not my intention though.
Trailer park meant nothing more than stomping grounds, not referring to your lifestyles.
Im sure that I will be a part of this community one day.
Anyway... just snapped a few more pics that look just plain silly. BTW...this big ole rig wont be doin any muddin or crawlin. Shes a trailer queen in the making. The one on page 3 with the paddles... 500+hp, 25K+ paint job...insane a/v system, and he jumps it at the Dunes. Love that guy!!!

HTH do you get in that thing? Ladder? Elevator? Chain ladder that falls down when you open the door?

Did I miss something? Or am I just acting like trailer trash? You were selling your car, TO EVERYONE IN THE TRAILER PARK at first, now you think you can take it back.
I like your innovation, but don't start trash talkin everyone else here! They're sending you a message! Take your "Trailer Queen" and put it in the classifieds, after you request permission, from Jason, to even post it.
And after you do all that, SHOW MORE PICS OF THE PADDLE H2! (please).

I don't care if I get flamed by you asswipes but......
I REALLY LIKE the pewter/black paintjob on the H2. Take away the Bling and it'll look cool.
I'm tempted....Very tempted to paint me baby like that.
Hey *******,
Can you post some more close ups of the pewter/black paintjob? Do it and I'll leave you alone.

Thanks everybody for wanting to up My count. I do receive everything said with the fun intended by it. If You can't laugh at Yourself Your likely to not be a very happy person anyway. That's way I have always looked at life. Life's just full of stupid stuff or Me I am doing stupid stuff so I may as well have fun with it. I'm amazed Myself that many read all that I write but, so greatful that you do. I really do try to condense my thoughts but, I just seem to lose that battle. I really do mean to be help and share some insight. Sorry for the length I'm not giving up the fight to shorten things. I'm not kidding before My illness You could not get Me to say 2 words much less a sentence, nothing more than it took to conduct business or to get My idea across as quickly as I could. Wrongly I felt like I just did not have time for people to honestly admit it. Not looking down on anyone just to busy to take time to see what others needed. But, after the first year of the illness I began to communicate more and allot. Doc says it most likely was because subconsciuosly I felt I was not going to have time to say allot of things I wished I had, so I had never tried to work on communication. He says I just began to overcompensate. Hopefully I can slow down but, now that I have taken the time to communicate I really do not want to go back to the way it was. I just got to try and make a conscious effort to find a happy medium.
tower I'm known for being tactful around here but, can be brass if Family and Friends are unfairly attacked. tower You now the Forum tried to talk Me into running for President on here and had picked out cabinet etc. I had some good cabinet folks I think. Then there was sort of a mutiny and I withdrew the acceptance.
I try to remember that when I came here KenP and Dennis worked real quick with Me to teach me the ropes and am very greatful. Maybe We should develope a users guide that when a person signs up to be able to enter forum they go through some does and dont's. Just a thought.
DRYT That 2 tone paint job is on several H2's at My dealer. I'm sure they painted theirs themselves but, as you have seen the lines it would be easy to do. I'm not into body and painting but, do know enough to get Me in trouble if I try it. That paint scheme is fairly easy to tape off and wet sand. Then I have seen some prime and some just paint, I guess it has to do with what paint You use, and others shoot the second tone, then wet sand to finish and then shoot clear. I would think a very compitent painter could do that for You at a very reasonable price. Remember I'm not a painter but, just recalling what I have seen done before. I saw a pewter recently at My dealer painted just like that but, had a different second tone. They shot a darker shade of pewter on it not real drastic more elegant with enough shading change to see the difference easily and it looked so sweet. I think You would like it that way and it would not be such a startling change that it would be hard for you to adjust to it.
I had a sponsor furnish chrome graphics and did a great job. I looked at it for 3 weeks and had it removed. I just could not adjust to the change. So I'm having an artist to do some real suttle airbrush stuff so that We can do something less harsh and more elegantly stated. I want to accent the bling instead of hiding it is what I felt the graphics did.
Oh, if anyone knows how to do this type of paint I'm going to mention next would You PM Me or let Me know on the forum as others may be interested. I have seen and had a friend trying to get the technique but, it is hard to do. I'll call it rain painting. He sands down the rig and after airbrushing or whatever He mixes some small flake in clear coat. He sprays rig down with water and as it begins to run and look like rain drops or I should say tear drops more descibes it, He shoots it with the clear and flake. I have seen a job like it and it makes the rig look like it is wet all the time and glistens really great. If anyone knows something about this please help me out.
Thanks everyone for all Your patience, I mean when I say thanks for putting up with Me. I just look forward to Us all getting together someday maybe right in the middle of the US someplace.

Thanks Co-pilot. I'm trying real hard to remember it takes food to stay alive. My daughter just came home and asked have I eaten and saw a fastfood burger on the counter that i picked up at 1:30 and forgot about it. I didn't say anything and then got yelled at allot. I just realized I had not eaten since this morning around 10 am. But, She brought pizza home and I'm going to turn on the Elvis Family special and eat some pizza.
Thanks for Your concern and trying to help Me find the paint scheme. It does exist i saw it but, cannot find it again.

I'm only about 5 hours from Dallas Metroplex.
Obviously may be farther to where You are.
But Texas or OK, KS, or anything in that area would be central I guess. Maybe even Hot Springs, Arkansas. I as shared with Co[pilot lots fo things to do even a nice offroad park. Lot's of shopping for the ladies and lots's of fishing, golfing, and Magic spring theme park and water park. Actually makes a great week of vacation for young ones to older ones.

How about a moab face off like mentioned before:
But----
We'll al post dates that we wouild like to do this trip.
Take into consideration of shipping the vehicles that consider this too far to drive (I'll do the homeowrk for those that are interested in doing this). I'm thinking about an enclosed truck for two or three H2's that would be interested. than you could fly into SLC, ride with those who are coming down that way, and than drive them back to your side of the tracks after you get the crap scared out you enough by the West Cost crew. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
Oh yeah, I'm still not doing L.B. too scared.
DennisAJC

If this is going to be possibly THE ONLY TIME this kind of group can be assembled and I do believe this will be a one shot deal.
Then we should do it right and do it in MOAB.
Tim's ideal is very feasable depending on how many sign up. I think even up to 6 H2s per delivery truck is possible. We could pick you guys up at Salt Lake.
The drive is not as hard as you think. Road trips go very fast when you travel together.

You guys have a point, post the dates. We will probably schedule two weeks for everything with regards to our personal sched. Contracting a multiple shipment would be ideal.
