I used the find and can’t find a discussion (I may be new on this forum but and not new at forums http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif).
I haven’t looked at anything yet but is the H3 metric and if so what brand of tools do you all recommend?

so it is metric? Surprised for no other reason than I know little more than the basics about most engines.

If you don't use MAC brand tools on the H3 it will void your warranty.
I replaced the intake with a Volant cold air intake. Everything was metric. I assume that all is metric. I'm always amazed at all the American cars and trucks that have switched to metric.

I think tool companies and fastener companies are owned by the same people, they keep making new sizes and types of fastener just so we have to keep buying tools. Currently my tool box is worth approx. $25000 canadian and still dont have everything I need. And yes the H-3 is metric sizing. Also would recommend MAC tools, best that I have found and service is second to none.
Snap-On and Mac are obviously the best tools but the average comsumer will probably end up with Craftsman. I have a mix of everything. Snap-On and Mac are made for the pros... Craftstman is geared (and priced) for the do-it-yourself person.

Actually our dollar is pretty good right now, I believe it works out to approx. 13.95 plus GST.
