I've seen many of you swap out your stock stereo with a Nav unit but teh applications have been with non-monsoon systems. I went to Car Toys and I told them I wanted to retain my monsoon amp and speakers and they just gave me a lot of lip service.

Anyone upgrade their system to a Nav unit and use an adapter to plug into their Monsoon amp? I'm looking for part numbers so I can do it myself.

I'd also liek to get a Nav unit that I can retain XM and add a backup cam.

Yep, I had the 6 Disc cd/Mosoon system. it's just plug and play with the correct adapters.

I went with the Pioneer AVIC-N2 Unit, it supports adding a a backup camera. and Pioneer's XM tuner with Traffic Nav.

Please tell us what adapter you use to keep the Onstar working, and where you bought it.

Pac audio offers OS-2 adapter (in the description of compatible vehicles there's no Hummer H3), and OS-2BOSE (there's Hummer H3 in the description). Which one have you used (for the Monsoon sound system)?

I just ordered the OS-4 from installer.com for $99.95. It is suppose to be plug and play for the Monsoon, but the OS-1, or OS-2 is suppose to work also.

You don't need th 0s2-bose. H3 does not have bose radio or speakers. OS2 works fine. I have no idea what the OS4 is for. The H3 has 2 purple wires you need to connect together on the back of of one of the plugs. proceedure can be found in a bulletin on the Pac-audo.com website.

Has anyone tried the OS4 from Autotoys (http://www.autotoys.com/x/catalog/ONSTAR___MOONSOON_INTERFACE_FOR_2003_CLASS_II_GM_V EHICLES_OS04_p_4726.html) with the Monsoon System?
