Anyone miss the different auto settings for the radio/cd player? (normal, spacious, rear, etc)
Anyone know how I can get these back... OR can I customize my own? I see in the manual that the radio can be set to save but I don't know how.
Thanks,
David

What year, model did you loose the options?

In mid-year 2004 GM switched audio systems from the "LUX" to the "Premium" setup. The Premium setup has a lower grade amp which does not have the settings you are looking for.
Some folks on the Avalanche and GM-Trucks forums have successfully swapped out the premium amps for the lux amps. However, it requires some rewiring and programming at the dealer.

... so the newer setup is cheaper? That sucks. It still sounds good but I did enjoy that feature. Probably not so much that I'd want to add parts and pieces.
Thanks,
David
