Now Excepting GMID Discount

Well, went to my dealer last night to get my deposit back since I was told last week they were not excepting the GMID discount. When I told my salesman that wanted the deposit back he said they just started excepting it. Boy, that is real coincidence. He said that they decided that since other dealerships in Florida were excepting them that they should too http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif I took this as, since we finally realized the we were losing business we decided to start working with people. Anyway, I decided to keep the order in with them and see how it goes. He said mine should be in end of the month or beginning of Sept.

It does amaze me how uninformed the sales people are. I don't know if it is just this salesman, this dealership or all Hummer dealers, but I am still providing him with more info that he is providing me. I really don't think the info is working its way down to the actual sales staff. He said they were not going to be getting that many units in for the next couple of weeks because the factory was closing for vacation http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif Had to inform him that was a month ago and that is probably why they will see a slowdown in deliveries.
