Here is a short video clip of me going through this creek. I realize it doesn't look so impressive on tape, but I guess you'd have to be there.

There is a reason there is a Back hoe in the picture here. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Yeah, you must've gone just due north of the Red River to get the locals like that to come out...

Must admit Jim,

Now with the color coded grill, your rig looks complete. Nawce! Did you post any poser shots close up? I may have missed it with the holidays n all.

I notice Bill Bob without a shirt. Still warm in Texas? It's snowing like crazy here.

Very close to complete. I'm having my rims and skid plate Powdered Coated Flat Black.

I'll be putting 37" MT/R's or BFG MT's on these new rims, then I'll be done with the outside pretty much.

No poser shots this time. I took one before I went in the mud, but it didn't come out so well.

Nice creek fun!!!
Looks like you can definetly use a different kind on tire for better traction.
You did impressingly well with the A/T's though.

Keep on Keeping on!!!

Det - have to agree that the front grill is trick! I wasnt sure about the original pics in the driveway, but with the rig in action - looks perfect - congrats!

Now if we can just find some MT/R's for that sweet ride.

SWEET video!!!
Hmmmm... you must have seen another rig and gotten inspired. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
I can't wait to see the black rims on your rig, which by the way, looks great with the painted grill.
Pic #4 looks like a guarantee soon-to-be stuck pic with your entry angle and the goopy muck on the other side.
You'll love the MTRs, if you go that way.

Who is the retard that tried to get the king cab pickup through the creek? Talk about the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong vehicle.

It was more about having fun than anything else. Nobody really expected to get through that ****. That stuff was wicked sticky.

I drove around at 40 MPH with 18 PSI in my tires and I couldn't get them to clean.

Even the Back Hoe couldn't get traction in that sticky nastiness and had to use the bucket and the arm to claw it's way out.

You can call that a creek, but really the water doesn't flow and it just stands and soaks in that clay 365 days a year. Putting a boot down in it was like quick sand.

Very nice Jim. Thought you were going to get stuck for a sec there. Did you need to winch the back hoe out too? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Detonate, I'd hate to see what you would consider as "impressive", because I think that clip is pretty damn cool. It makes the video that I took of my H2 in a creek now look like I was going though a rain puddle!!
