I'm finally throwing down for the marker lights - having them installed tomorrow morning... Will post pics!
I'll be partying in Austin all weekend, so if you're out and about around 6th Street - come get a free RIVETHEAD CD and some stickers and promo stuff from me and two of my RIVETchicks...

Congrats also: They will definitely make your ride look even sweeter. I've been wanting them on my H3 for some time now....just having to pay for all this wedding/honeymoon stuff first. Looks like I'll have to wait until '07 probably. I'll be cruising through Austin either the weekend of May 6th/7th or 13th/14. I might give you a shout for some of that porno...I mean promo stuff. Take care.

I am thinking about getting marker lights next. How much do they cost? I have heard different amounts from different dealers. Definitely post some pics.

They sure do make a difference in the overall look of the truck.

Thanks HN! Yep, I agree...it helps to set the hummer apart from others. You've got the same outside look as I've got except for the brush guard....I'm now even thinking of LineX for the front grill, bumper and brush guard after I saw a pic yesterday that I think adds alot to the look.

I think they add a lot and am glad I got them. Since that pic I have added the cross bows, removed the steps, added the rocker rail and mud flaps. Going to get some custom brackets made so I can attach the side steps to the rocker rails.

I just had the marker lights installed on my yellow H3 last Friday. I took the day off to be ther for the "major surgery" and to supervise. They said it would take 3.5 hours but it took almost 4.5. That is probably because I was there. It was very painful to watch him drill 6 holes in my roof. All in all , they did a pretty good job. On top of that they gave me 15% off parts and labor because I had driven 130 miles to the dealership and was there before they opened and did not leave until 2:30pm. The total cost was $555.00 including tax. They are fantastic. I was born and raised in the trucking business so I have always been into lights. I wish they would make a set for the rear. I would get them immediately.

Very Nice! I told you earlier that I'd look you up when I'm in Austin during early May...not realizing you're in Big D as well. Will honk if I see ya on the Tollway or Out&About. Excellent choice in color!

You got it man!!!
I'm all over that Tollway (maybe 75 morso)...
It took about 1 hour and about 10 minutes for the job from start to finish...
Sewell has authorized Hummer techs...
I can't even window shop there without my truck getting detailed inside and out...

They look great Steve, congrats.
I dropped mine of Tuesday to get the marker lights fixed and an oil change. It was great driving to and from work the past couple of days without having to listen to them start vibrating whenever I got much north of 70. I say "was" because it came to a screeching halt on the way home this evening. Soon as I got to maybe 72 or 73 they started up again http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif
My service advisor told me when I picked it up that the tech put in an extra bolt. Not sure how or where but I will be finding out. Guess it is time to take it back in for another try. I am thinking this time when I leave there should be a center console tray in my truck for my trouble http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

No problem man -- But I forgot to show you my new horn on my demo..15 1/4'' & 13 1/4" air horns hidden in the grille...huge compressed air tank on the rear inside frame..sounds like a semi, and and is difficult to be responsible with.. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

You got any pics of the tank? Would it hold enough air for airing up after wheeling?

probably not THAT big...I'll try and get some pics...if you waited a few minutes for the tank to fill again you'd have enough air...
