The bright chrome crossbows are still available as a separate option for $450 (Chrome Appear. Pkg should be $400). You should make sure that you see a price adjustment down of $175 in the Lux Pkg for the deleted Home Link/Lighted Visors (I believe Lux Pkg is $2920 now).
Unfortunately, the dealership has no control over this, as the factory makes the changes. Most of the options are still available, just as a separate option. It's possible you will get the options as you ordered them since it was in mid June, I ordered mine 6/28 and got the bright chrome crossbows as ordered but the Universal Home Link/Lighted Visors were omitted (even though they are still offered as a separate option). Don't worry, you'll love your truck and you'll probably get everything you ordered with the exception of the Home Link/Lighted Visors.

the factory is trying to simplify order processt o pump out h3's faster. so all options not included in the lux or offroad packages noe require the dealership to order and setup at each dealership. sucks but they are all about the buck. make sure your dealer charges you the price if they were factory installed. if they dont you could get gouged an install fee by the dealer. example: i ordered 6/8 took del 8/12. slate blue lux offroad sunroof 6 disc monsoon, black steps not tubes brush guard mud flap black crossbows marker lights. when i arrived to pick up the dealer was all excited for me. showed me my rig. mothing on it at all. i asked if it was some kinda joke. he played dumb for a minute before i started to get angry then he scrambled for excuses. basically im staring at a blue lux offroad with sunroof and discplayer nothing else. so 3 weeks later i ve got almost everything still waiting on mudflaps bike rack and marker lights(quarentined). most important dont let them charge you any install labor on stuff you order with your truck!! dont know anything about mirrors and homelink my lux has them both

It sounds like the Lux package is getting hit the worst but did they remove anything from the off road package?

It still baffles me that it costs 3k for seats and floormats, and now a felt cup.
Is anyone else as confused as I am???

Nope -- used to come w/ chrome cross bows -- not anymore w/ the cheaper price.

The crossbows (chrome or black) are available as a stand alone option now, $450 if ordered with your H3.

Boulderhummer your dealership should honor your original order, meaning they will put any options that you originally ordered (some are dealer installed now) on your H3 at the original price you were quoted when you ordered your H3. I had ordered the Chrome Pkg. when it came with the crossbows, so Lynch installed the crossbows at the dealership and it was still the original price ($850) as when I had ordered it. They can't install Home Link/Lighted Visors at the dealer's though. If they don't have something in stock, ask them to honor it when they do, otherwise some of their labor/installation fees are exorbitant.

They can't install the homelink visor?
I installed one on my Vette, and it was not even an option.
If they can get the part, it is about a one hour installation. Power to the unit comes from the outside rearview mirror circuit, and there is already a ground in the A-pillar (used it for my radar detector). On the one I purchased the antenna was located in the visor itself.
So, it the dealer can get one from service parts, and they should be available from GM service parts for warranty replacement, they should be able to install.

Thanks f5fstop. I was repeating what my salesman had told me. He said the Homelink is incorporated into the visor itself, so he thought it had to be a factory installed option. I'll check that out since that would allow me to ditch the unsightly garage door opener on the visor. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

It is, but the visor is replaceable as a complete unit, with the homelink. The visor is only held in with three screws (maybe two).
