The other day, while it was in the 90's here, I took my H3 shopping. I though I was sick or the air was not working very good.
Turn out my heated seat was on HI accidently.
I wish there was an light on the dash to say it was on or something to that effect.

This is the third time I have read this. Another argument for me to get cloth.

There are more than enough lights on the dash as is, no need to add more just for this.
Confucius say...
Go to drive H3 with warm tush mean switch is flipped in on position.
Ok, that was bad, but for a better one...

yeah right the whole chair adjustment/heat is in such an inconvienient spot, they should have the heat switch either by the door lock handle or center console with a light in my opinion

I agree with H3Lady on this one!
Why can't we just order another switch like that and re-mount it somewhere esle. Leave the old one in there so there is no hole.

Good idea. You could mount a push button switch at the bottom of the center stack.

Just spoke to a friend at GM, next production year, they are moving the switch to the center console under the radio.
Darn it...wish it was like that now.
I am going to find out with what timgco said, add another switch somewhere else..

Center console under the radio makes perfect sense. That's where most of them are in other vehicles. It's not a huge deal right now since my hands are never down there, and I like where my seat is at, but I could see it as a small problem if someone else drives the vehicle like my wife!

You could just tap into wires and put in a lighted rocker switch or button rite were they have those to extra spots under ac controls.

First Hummer,
I can't do that as I have already installed a James Bond Ejector seat button there for people who make comments that the H3 looks like a Jeep. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
Sounds like a good idea. I'm sure someone could come up with a slick device that automatically turns on the seat warmer if the outside temperature reaches "x" degrees. That would be interesting!

I could be wrong but I would think that if there was going to be a big change and she knew it was coming, she would have waited herself. I could be wrong though and it is going to be at least 10 months before they come out I am sure.

If Limited Edition means ass-tone (aka two-tone) paint then count me out (see the post here on those ugly beasts!). Limited Editions are usually let downs anyway (by the time they come out, serious owners have already made that upgrade or modification since most of it is cosmetic), so fire away and get what you want now! I don't see a Z06-esque type upgrade for the H3's.

I used to wait 6 months or so before I bought a new product but now with our focus on getting the product right the first time I wouldn't hesitate to buy one right out of the chute.
I also buy often like H3Lady... however I used to do it every six months, and not only for myself but my wife as well. So buying a brand new product right out of the chute is not a big concern for me. Hey one can always trade it in for the next great color or newest model.
Again, with the strong focus on getting the product right the first time our new vehicle launchs are better than ever!
BTW: I liked the new H3 so much I bought one even with the knowledge that there will be new and improved models coming out down the road (called continious improvment). I.E. increase in HP next year and perhaps even a V8 in 08. Hey that even rhymes so nice too doesn’t it? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif</span>
