Hey guys,

I am going to attempt to install my new chrome door buckets tomorrow, and only found one reference on here with some tips. Anyone else have any helpful tips, instruction, or pictures that might help.
Thanks in advance.

The most helpful tip I can give you.

(1)TAKE IT TO THE DEALER!

I just did mine---I have a shop manual and did it by the book. I did remove the front door window glass because I found it easier than doing it as suggested on on one of the threads here.

I do not know how to find that thread but the wrench used on that thread was VERY helpful. It took about 4 hours.

Start with the back doors---they are easier.

I got the back doors done, and took the front panel off and feel a little intimidated by the window. The rears were not that bad at all. Just trying to figure out what to do now.

Kevin:

I live in Princeton--a short dash from you. I will have my Hummer guy put on the fronts if you want. PM your e-mail or phone number to me if you'd like me to do it or just help you over the phone.

Well? How did the install go?

Well,

I got the back ones installed with no problem at all. I got the front door panels off and saw the glass in the way, and got a little nervouse about dealing with it. So, I took it to the dealer today and they installed the fronts for $100, so it was well worth it for the piece of mind.

Kyle,

Does this mean you'll drive over and change out my chrome handles to black?

By the way, while your at it, could you help me with the mirror caps and the H2 emblem
