Hi, I am about to buy a new H2 and take advantage of the GMS pricing out there. Can anyone suggest where to get the best deal. I live in South Florida, but have come across a couple of good dealerships. Lynch Hummer seems to be offering a great straight forward deal - GMS minus $1000 and no fees, I have to ask them about shipping. I heard good things about Sewell in Dallas and will give my local dealers a ring too.. Anybody from South FLA here??
Bottom Line is I am looking for the best Bottom LIne.

Any help greatly appreciated, b/c even though I am new, I am sure this Q. isn't.

Thanks again.

If you call Hummer direct, you may be able to determine the best place based on your needs. While customer service after the sale is always desirable, perhaps one may rank over another...if that is what you are looking for. Other than that, you could also find who has the best sales numbers, which should be another clue.

A Singh is a lion in the Punjabi language, males who follow the religion Sikhism all have Singh either as their last or middle name out of an egalitarian symbol of equality of humankind and pride of their identity. All Sikhs are Singh's but not all Singhs are Sikh, it is a popular last name in India... if you want to find out more about Sikhs visit http://www.sikhnet.com and go to the introduction to sikhism tab...Thus, what is a more fitting ride for a "singh" other than a Hummer!

So is everybody else; they are trying to clear off their lots for the '06 models!

Before this guy got on here and started "selling" in various threads, I would have recommended Sewell of Plano to anyone. Yesterday I told a friend talk with Frank Kent in Fort Worth.

I just talked to them and all their H2s are currently $7,000 - $10,000 off MSRP. No BS either. Here's their website Edmark (http://www.edmarksuperstore.com/). When I bought mine sight unseen I called them on Friday afternoon, they held it and picked me up at the airport the next day and I was on the road home in an hour. No hard sell on anything and what you agree to on the phone is it. I can't stress how honest these people are. Anyone interested ask for Ben or Stuart.

Do dealers deliver H2's anywhere in the country? I mean that if I buy one anywhere in the country it will be directly delivered to me from the factory not through the dealer even when sold by the dealer?

Don't think so but not sure.

As far as price goes, it doesnt matter where you get your Hummer. GMS pricing is a set price on every vehicle and is clearly notated on the invoice--the dealer should be willing to show you the gms pricingon the invoice. In addition, they are also offering a $1,000 rebate in which the dealer cannot pick up themselves or hide so you shouldnt worry about not getting it.

If they do not have the one you like in stock they can locate one for you at another dealer. When they do this they will not get their holdback(they get approximately $1,800 just for moving a vehicle that is on their lot--even if they sale it at the same price they paid for it). If this is the case they may charge you to have the dealer pick it up. The dealer can keep their holdback if the dealer that has the one you like is willing to trade them for a Hummer on their lot. I know this due to the fact that i used to sale cars on a Hummer, SAAB, gmc, pontiac and buick lot and because i just bought my own 3 days ago(05 lux/black/nav/sun/air ride suspension). I did a little research on prices but from my knowledge of gms pricing and from talking to the GM of the local Hummer dealer which happens to be a friend, the price is what it is. The dealer will make most of their money in the financing.

Good luck with your new purchase.

Boss that $1k is dealer cash not a rebate, so some dealers choose not to offer it to their customers. We are doing $8k off MSRP or GMS+$1k dealer cash whichever is better for the customer. Suprisingly H2 sales have not been affected by H3 sales as much as I would have thought they would. Seemslike poele are coming in on H2 or H3 and sticking to that model rather then flip-flopping between the two.

4churchill, you are right...it is dealer cash and they do not have to offer it to their customers. It doesnt suprise me a bit people arent flip flopping....i barely noticed the H3s on the lot when i got my H2.

This might be a little late but I bought my CTS-V this way and got three dealers fighting for my business. The owner of the dealership used his personal GM credit card money and applied it towards my vehicle in the end.

http://www.gmbuypower.com, click on the Hummer logo and follow the steps. Find the vehicle you are looking for and start emailing the dealerships with what you want and what you will pay. I would email 5-10 dealers and wait for responses. I narrowed my search to three dealers, picked up the phone and let them fight over me. Remember dealers get credit from GM when they sell a vehicle, the more vehicles they sell the better allotments they get (Limited editions, etc). Its not always about making money on every transaction. Towbin Hummer Las Vegas sells 50+ hummers a month and they have alot of desirable hummers.

I can't tell the discounts on the Hummer but I did look at an Escalade. They were offering GMS pricing - $2500.00 dealer rebate. The dealer also had $500 in holdback money which they can give up if they have to. I would imagine the Hummer is setup the same way. They also were offering 2.9% APR.

I was also told the GMS pricing most likely would be extended, this promotion has killed future month sales, they might be up 40% in June, but how many future months did they steal. Either way the next two days puts the burden on the dealer to sell as many vehicles as they can, we are diffentely in a Buyers market.

Regarding shipping you will have to make the decision to have it shipped covered vs. uncovered (add 850.00 if you want it covered). Uncovered will cost around $1300.00, your lucky that you live in Florida, alot of transport companies have scheduled routes. It will take a 2-3 weeks to get your vehicle.

Hope this helps.
