View Full Version : Need off road tips for Yuma, AZ.
I'm going to Yuma at the first of March and I'd like some info on good off road trails. Certainly one of you EXPERTS has some advice on where to go. (be gentle). http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

If anyone from the H2Source wants to do an offroad trip in Arizona the last weekend in March, Let's get it started! There is so much territory out there. I love it!
It's nice to see you getting the advice you need.... finally.
Well at least Big Z is down there. I can usually count on one Oregonian.:D
Why don't you and CP meet me out there before Moab?:dancingbanana:
Here's a pic of a sunrise from somewhere on the highway.

Wow! There's actually a place that you haven't been to with the H2? :D
This is a shot from Woodpecker trail outside Phoenix.
This is the Emperial Sand Dunes on the California/Arizona border.
The Border Patrol uses those Ford Expeditions, I noticed them looking the H2 over pretty closely. I think they need that Desert Sand color.
Wow! There's actually a place that you haven't been to with the H2? :DBaja is the next trip I think. I need to get with you and Tim and Adam and decide when we're going. :D

X2!
Here's a sand bowl. I did not drive into it because I was by myself. Next time I need to remember to bring the sleds tho. I think the kids would love that. The Sand dunes are HUGE! I think you could drive all day going North to South on them.
This is close to where Competition Hill is. I wish I had a pic.

Why dont you email the Azhog guys? If you did I'm sure that some of them would come out to play with you.

But really, I'm just trying to entice some people to make a trip down and see the area while increasing my post count.:D I also would like to make Ken sorry he resurrected my old thread.:jump:

I am up for anything, send me a pm when you decide what you want to do, I haven't done the Baja thing yet and I really want to do that before I move back east. We should get together and do something even if it is just a quick run.
If there is anyone else in Yuma that wants to get together, send me a PM, I haven't been wheelin in a while (new baby) and I need to get polished up for Moab so I don't get :OWNED: .
FINALLY! Someone who actually lives there!:D I'll shoot you a pm when I get closer to going. I was thinking we could head east toward the hills there and find some rocks to climb.
Congrats on the new Baby! AAwwwwWWW1!:beerchug:
Baja is starting to sound like next winter/spring.
sounds good, see ya then.
