Black rim with poilshed lip anyone? [Archive]

Its a long shot yes but does anyone have a picture of a burgundy H2 with black KMC backseats with the polished lip? I am looking into 20's and can get a great deal on the black backseats but just want to see what they look like on the metalic red truck. Just spent a hour on the search no joy

Yes thats the exact set up I am looking at but on the met red truck thanks.
I have some chrome which the polished lip will off set and the black of the wheel will work nicely with the black portions of the truck. Can't wait I think it will look awesome.

NU2 - I have a victory red sut with mc2 revolvers that are black chrome with chhrome lip. 20" with 35" tires. Not exactly what you were looking for but I can take pictures later this weekend. if you think it will help. I think it looks great.

I just think without a very badass looking tire on there it looks too lux. How are they finding black center caps for these wheels - all I have seen is chrome.

I would agree on the tires..... im thinkin toyo m/t's look the best, as far as the center caps go at first i thought they just got painted but it looks like they have the logo on them still. So, beats me??

well - I emailed a dealer a while ago, and asked if they would work with an H2. He said to me that they will fit, because they make one exclusively for the H2. I am not sure if he was just talking about the bolt pattern or if he was talking black cap too. I know the pattern is the same as other trucks...so not sure.

Wow great pictures and yes that is the wheel I found a place in TX who will sell a set of 20's for $700 plus 50 shipping and tax. anyobne can beat that? with a set of toyo MT they will look so mean

VTSTOMPER, what tires did you end up getting... i bought the same wheels today and got toyo 325/60/20 open country all terrain, i think they should work fine but i wanted to hear everyone elses opinion???

Hey Mizz,

I think I am going to run 35X12.50 on them...and probably either the toyo mt's or the Nitto Mud Grappler.

I was going to go with some 37's, but I just do not want to deal with tons of rubbing. The 35's will allow me to still flex the way I can with the stock set-up.

I have not looked too hard. I was hoping that they would come with the black because I told them that I would prefer that.

If they are chrome, and I cannot get a good lead on them - I will have to buy some - or paint these. I imagine any KMC dealer could get them, I just have not checked. Let me know if you get chrome, I imagine I will too.

I think these are 22's on 35's, thats just a guess. I just ordered these same wheels in 20's with 325's (wanted a little more rubber for ride quality) Should look good.... tires just came in now waiting on the wheels, should have my baby finished by the begining of next week. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Depending on how long it is going to take to get the toyos MTs, I will get those. If those are going to take a long time, I might get the Nitto muds, or terra. I want the muds, only because they look,sound,feel so mean. Plus I plan on running them in light off road events. MIZZOU H2, I have some good news my friend. I got the rims today and they look very good!!!! I am very happy with the look/finish of the wheel.

Now for the good news...they came with a black center caps. SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!

I am so happy - I checked the bolt pattern, and that is good as well! It does not get better than this!

VT, I came this || close to getting the same wheels. I have a friend of mine that has them on his Ford Super Duty and his Toyota Pre-Runner, and they look awesome.

Take good care of that polished lip, it'll haze/oxidize quickly.

I just looked at http://www.superbuytires.com and it looks like the KMC bacseats range from 18-22 inches. Sorry I didn't see 17" but syou should contact KMC via KMCwheels.com, they might offer 17's somewhere.

I am not sure how Ram got a his KMC on the back of his SUV, but I am guessing that it is a pre 2005 rear tire rack on his truck - BECAUSE the KMC backseat will NOT fit on the 2005+ rear tire rack. How poopy (because I cannot swear like the "cool" guys) is that.

I just bought my wife Black KMC Backseats and the center cap is this huge chrome thing that sticks out about 3 inches. The pics in this thread the center cap is small and flush. What gives? It doesn't look that bad I guess but it is huge. I like the flush look better. Was it an option?

This is not the actual one on our truck but it's the same hub.

18" for my wife's H2. Also, most of the black KMC Backseat center hub covers I see on H2's on this site have chrome hub covers. I guess there must be three choices then.
