Like title says, I'm looking at different options for a either a SMA (sp?) brush guard or perhaps a simple cross bar that fits the stock brush guard so I can add 2/4 fog lamps.

Anyone have one or any recommendations?

Thanks,

Mark

Thanks,

Mark IIRC you have the Warn winch bumper. The warn light bar is not compatible with the bumper without some slight mods.

I have both and all I did was shorten the length of the cables for the hood. There are others that have done the same and it works perfectly.

You can get the light bar here: http://www.trailduty.com/products/warn/lightbar.html

Thanks guys. I'm trying to decide whether I want the SMA guard (which may be too overkill for me) or just to add some lights on the bar.

DDWH,

That's a good idea if you're just looking to bolt on a set of lights. They look like a good piece. Thanks.

Paragon,

How much did you have to shorten the cable? I looked at a SMA at the dealership this week and they had some quick release pins so the whole bar tilted down. Did they do that mod or is that how the SMA needs to be mounted.... (with pins AND shortening cable)

Thanks,

Mark

When mounting two lights to the factory brush guard is an additional crossbar necessary? I thought two lights could be mounted directly. Of course this would be different if you went with four lights.

Mark Mark, all I did was make up some simple pieces of 90 degree elbow, remove the springs from the ends of the cables and pin back into my fabbed elbow. Here is the thread: http://elcova.com/groupee/forums/a/tpc/f/6706011751/m/6.../607103768#607103768 (http://elcova.com/groupee/forums/a/tpc/f/6706011751/m/607103768/r/607103768#607103768)

Patriot had some really nice ones fabbed up but mine have worked flawlessly since and my hood has been open A LOT since then.

Do the factory brackets come with the factory offroad light kit, the brushguard, or are they a separate item to be ordered?
