I think that these look like a great idea. I am tiring of my garage door opener popping off of my visor. So far, that is my biggest complaint with my H3, those visors are too thick!
If that is the only complaint I have I'd say I'm not doing too bad

I take it you did not get the home-link option?

Home link only comes with the luxury.
HomeLink no longer comes with the Lux pkg. It is an extra cost option.

This hopefully will work better than homelink you dont have to take hands off the wheel.Anyone know how much the homelink option is for the dealer to install.

Hi fourfourto, any progress on the garage door opener. I saw them a while ago but didn't order yet. They seem very easy to install.
Will the opener get out of sync with the door opener if you use the brights a lot? Or do the rolling code openers manage to stay in sync no matter what?
I know that with a lot of GM's, if you hit the key FOB's buttons too many times outside range of the vehicle, it gets out of sync and has to be rematched to the vehicle. Just wondering if it's the same with this opener's transmitter.

I just installed the high beam remote opener (pin style)It was a little confusing to program.Instead of tapping in to wires first I hooked it up to spare batery with a switch to program first.Alot easyer than going back and forth with high beam swich.(its nice to know it works before tapping into wires)After programing I installed to high beam wires on right side and mounted towards back of air cleaner box.The unit only sends signals once so if you turn your high beams on door will open ,shut off nothing .flick high beam it will open door.If driving with high beems on it stops sending signal in 30 seconds to avoid over use of unit.
They have 2 types roaming and pin style.I you are programing it its good to start off with knowing the code of your transmiter and follow instructions carefully.
It opens door every time so far . It worked from 50-100 feet, and hands stay on wheel
