New Headlights and Foglights install with pics

OK, here’s the deal. I replaced the dull stock headlight and fog bulbs with these bulbs purchased at automotivelightingusa.com

H13 Luminics Ultra White 5150K 50/55W
H10 Nokya Hyper Yellow 2500K 45/55W

Lights were replaced by the dealer as my H3 won’t fit into my garage. First time in, the tech did not align them (at all)…wtf? When I turned on lights they were all over the place and it looked like I had no lights all ……BAD! So, I took it back the next day. Second time in, headlights now aligned but fogs still kinda F’d up. Geez, if they can’t even put bulbs in right, should I let them do my scheduled maint/repairs? Hmmmmm!

So, my humble opinion: Together (heads and fogs on) the visibility is really pretty good and it looks good too. The headlights are very white looking with a slight tint of blue. The fogs are very yellow and cut through the fog/haze/darkness quite nicely! I highly recommend these H10 Nokya Hyper Yellow bulbs. However, when I switch to high beam (fogs automatically turn off), it looks pretty dim. Not good!!! These Luminics H13 bulbs are not very penetrating and I would not recommend unless you want to just look good, not see good! Had better visibility with stock high beam lights! So, except for high beams, which I don’t really need with heads and fogs on together, these lights will do until summer (when it doesn’t get dark here! lol). So, it’s wait for another H13 bulb option or break the bank for HIDs; I have about 9 months to make up my mind, then it gets dark again. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

Here's the easy explanation: On 21 JUNE it's the summer solctice (spelling?). That day gets the most light with the sun skirting just under the horizon for a few hours then it pops back up again. You can read a book outside at 3 in the morning! After June 21st, we lose @ 5-7 minutes of light each day until 21 December when it only gets light from about 1030am to 2pm or so...then it gets DARK. After 21 Dec we start gaining light again each day until 21 June, an the cycle continues. Today for example, it's almost 3:30 pm and the sun is starting to set; still kinda light out! Plus side..the summer rocks!! Actually, around mid September, after Moose hunting season, most people are burnt out from always being on the go (with all the light). But, the minus side...winters can be looong, cooooold, and dark! If I hadn't already been sniffing glue, I'd probobly make me start drinking! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Damn FishnMan those light are fricken awesome. I love the camera angles and the different shots with and without the flash. Seriously though. the lights look brighter and I may just change mine out. I've been driving around with my new PIAAs I just installed (don't know if it's legal on the street?) and I love the extra light. By the way I posted pictures of them and also got no response. It's just info we are all taking in. I wasn't expecting any response, just fun to share. No more time now for the pity party it will take time away from drinking and glue sniffing!

i bought the HID's off ebay for 299 thats not expensive at all.. and for the price you paid on those bulbs and as much as u will have to replace them after a few years u could have a set.. anyways heres mine for comparison
