Thought ya'll may be interested in seeing what it looks like. Cool system, a Hummer first: you can listen to a CD and use Nav at the same time. The unit pops off after holding the eject button for 12 seconds to put in the nav disc -- kind of strange, but seems to work just fine. Unfortunately, VERY few are out. It'll probably be another month or two before we see another one. This one is already sold.

About time we saw something !! Looks pretty good, not sure about the face plate "popping off" if I understood your comments correctly. Let us know when you ship these up to Canada....or any H3's !!

I must say that it looks pretty sharp. I don't think its worth an extra $2K, but it has a nice clean OEM look. I've been waiting six months to see one http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

It pops forward about an inch, then folds down towards you so you can put the nav disc in. Kinda different if you're not expecting it, but it doesn't seem strange after a few times.

It is a DVD-Rom for the nav disc, but it does not play DVD movies.

We've only had one and didn't remove it to check out the back. The system is XM equiped (if ordered that way, and I would guess every one will be) and runs through the touch-screen.

The screen looks a little small, wish they would have put smaller buttons at the bottom instead so you could have more viewable screen area.

It looks very cheesy to me.I was thinking it would look alot better. You pay $2,000 and you should get alot better looking set up.

Today when you look at what a good Garmin or a Tom Tom can do for a 1/3 of the price, the OEM display looks fairly primitive. Then image how it'll compare to GPS equipment 3 or 5 years from now.
