Went wheeling today on a relatively easy trail. However, when you have a vehicle as wide as an H2 you definitely get a number 2 pucker when you ride some of these trails. Just thought I'd share a couple of pix.

Heading down on Saxton road. Here is where the puckering begins:

Have you heard of anyone ever rolling down any of those hills?

No, but there was a fatal roll-over last year on the Mt. Blanca trail. It was not a 1000 foot drop like this one. Just a 10 foot drop.

The Blanca roll over was a bit more than a 10ft drop. I was up there about 2 weeks after the accident. The jeep rolled off the side of jaws 2 and throught the switch back below. It was a very eiry sight.
I hate drop offs like that. Especially off camber stuff.
If it can break it can be fixed.

The 101 in L.A. is well paved but just as scary! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I didn't realize that Jaws 2 had a long drop off. I haven't been there. I've just seen pictures of it and never had a view that showed a big drop off.

This is what happens on Jaws 2. Yikes! From what I was reading, this guy just happened to get lucky and a rock caught his roof which prevented him from rolling down into the valley:

Rolling down a 100' hillside just is not my idea of having fun off road with the H2. Thanks but I think I'll wreck my H2 elsewhere.

Jaws II is exteemely scary and dangerous. It is better now because it has been built up a bit to deal with the off camber. There is usually one death every year up there. Blanca is considered one of the top ten most dangerous trails in the country.
Just for safety I strung the winch both going up and down.
If it can break it can be fixed.

Agreed! You should come with us. In fact, we're doing the Al Serra Hummer event on Sunday the 13th. You should call them and tell them you're coming. I believe it's 719-867-1000, and just tell the receptionist you're coming.

I would absolutely consider it. I have no problem with most Saturdays and even will have a few Fridays off from time to time.

It was always Paul and Sandra who had sundays open. They work too damn hard including saturdays. Did you mention that all the "A" H2 owners in CO now also have stealth GOBI racks?
