My H3 did not come with marker lights. Has anyone put them on after the fact? If so, where did you get the parts and what was the skill level required? Thanks http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

The marker lights are installed by the dealer not the factory.I had mine installed about a month after I got mine by the dealer. These are something you might want to let the dealer install.

There's been at least a couple people here who have done it themselves. And there are some good write ups. Try doing a search.
As for installing yourself, how comfortable are you drilling into your brand new truck? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

Not only drilling into your brand new rig, but are you willing to take full responsibility for the installation? (Especially knowing the history of Marker Lights and thier inherent difficulties)OEM parts put on at the dealership are covered by warranty.
If for whatever reason your installation does not go perfectly....like noisy marker lights....I don't think it will be covered, parts maybe....but not the workmanship.

I was told by dealer that accessorys put on at purchace are covered by 4 year 50.000 mile warranty.Accessorys put on after purchase are covered for 1 year.I have a problem with right clip loose at roof and small crack in long plastic roof rail.Im bring it in for oil change soon and if I would have installed lights myself thay probobly wouldnt cover plastic pieces. So I should have no problems with them replacing the plastic.I dont have lights now but thinking of the off road ones(I do like that off road running light combo someone was thinking of doing on another tread).

Crisco did the off road lights and did a detailed write up on his website:

While you are interested in the marker lights, his write up would give you a real good idea of what you would be getting yourself into ie drilling into the roof, running the wiring, etc.
We are getting off road lights and letting the dealer install them.
Here is a place that sells the roof marker set.

Thanks for the info. I will let the dealer do it If I decide it is worth it. Maybe I will just save up for the Supercharger!! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
