Here's a shot of my new Volant Cold Air Intake.

I bought it off of ebay. The seller included the polished aluminum top. The directions were terrible though it's pretty evident where everything goes. I looked at a few pictures on the web where people had installed the same intake. That is pretty much all you need. The fit and finish overall is okay at best. The fit was very, very tight. My worry was that the breather tube needed a little more space. It was jambed up against the throttle body. I figured the flex of the engine would mess something up so I trimmed the length of it by about a 1/2 inch to allow a little movement.
Volant forgot to add a few parts so I needed to improvise a few things. The tube for the breather hose coming off the back and a few screws. They ended up giving me two more hose clamps than I needed. I reused the stock coupling for the throttle body because I didn't like the look of the one they supplied.
I haven't driven it yet but you can hear the throaty roar as it sucks in air when you nail the throttle. I'll post back after a few hundred miles to see if there are any mileage gains.
Overall.. I like the "bling" factor under the hood... Though a polished aluminum tube (like the polished K&N) would make it look even better.
