Question about the smokers package

Does the ash tray fit in the front or rear cupholder in the center console? I am going to get one to mount a controller to the lid.

I keep mine in the front one.It does fit better in the rear one though.The top hinged part hangs up a little in the fromt one if cupholder is pushed all the way down.I put a little friction tape on the back of it so its in snugly and opens smouthly from the front.
Also in the rear position its hard to flick ashes into it.

My lighter was mounted on the left side

Yes it is , i never noticed this until i had purchased the H 3

I ordered the smokers package just to have the ashtray part for spare chang. Lucky for me because they only sent me that part. also i think they sent the H2 version and it fits perfect in the smaller of the two cup holders.

Ill try to take some pics tommorow morning if I get a chance and post them. Ill take one of it of the rear one also..
If your going to use controller front would be better.list pics when you get it set up.

I wish there was a light on it so when you open lid at night you can see it.I tryed to go to radio shack to get a led bulb and a mercury switch and try to fabricate something ,But they dont sell them anymore.
Any Ideas for a light ?

Now in NY if a fire starts from a butt thrown out of window you are liable.
I think in CA they give you a ticket.
Even worse if it hits a biker in the face or flys back in truck.BAD IDEA

my ashtray looks totally diff. hmmmm i wonder what car it was really made for. ill take some pics after work. it is black and the top is flat. it fits perfect and looks like it is less obtrussive to the rear cupholder.

Pics pics I like mine in the front .I got it at dealer at purchase with the lighter .It was a freebee no charge.But they hit me hard for everything else.

They are a little diferent probobly local supplier thing. Mine looks a little shorter.
