I just bought a set of factory take off chrome wheels and now my TPS service is on. I have tried to reset per owners manual but no luck. I noticed the valve stems are black rubber not like what is on my other wheels, isn't the sensor/valve stem all one piece? Have I been screwed on these so called factory take offs or what? Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

If you have rubber valve stems I would say the sensors are not install. Sorry.

the chrome factory wheels should have come with sensors right? So if they were take offs the sensors should be there. The E-Bay seller lied or just didn't mention it. Thats why I went with factory wheels to avoid this kind of ----!!

All H3's are equipped with TPS so the factory chrome wheels should have had them correct?

Unless the seller transfered them to his other wheels.

When you did the factory reset per the owners manual, did you get the honk after letting the air out of each tire? If you didn't then the sensors are most likely not there.

no honk, thats why I don't think they're in the wheels. The ebay seller could have noted this in his ad.
It's not a big deal, I can use mine but the whole reason I bought wheels with tires was to avoid this. My fault for assuming!

I've seen sensors for sale on ebay, they are not that expensive.

I got my first flat tire yesterday!
I ran over a bolt!
The tire went flat as a pancake!
The TPS crap did noting!
It did not even know there was a flat!

When they replaced the tire, was the sensor ok? If hit just right, they can break, and possibly, the tire doubled up inside and snapped the sensor. Just a theory.

I pushed the blue button!
In about 10min they came and fixed the tire.
They just jacked it up, plugged it, and filled it.
All in about 20min.
