anyone seen seat covers for the H3 other than the OEM? anyone want to sell their Oem seatcovers? I know i'm gonna just destroy my cloth seats this spring. All these aftermarket things are killin my bank account http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif. I guess i should have financed all of it http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif. I've seen some OEM on egay, but their selling for more than what i can get from the dealer. Anyone have these? do they fit snug, or are they the sloppy fit covers that slide and bunch up? thanks all.

I have the oem ones. They are ok, they don't move around. They are not as great as I thought they would be for the price. The front ones have the cut outs for the levers, etc on the side of the bottom cushion. The back ones have an opening for the drink holder.
As Randy Jackson on American Idol would say, "It was just ok for me man, but not great"
They should protect the cloth fairly well.
Got mine off of e ay from a place in New Hampshire, they came quickly.

hey thanks for the reply. sounds like they cover well, but do they cover the back of the front seats?(do they cover up the "stuff all your junk in here" nets on the back of the seats?) I would hope not. if not, how do they attach. thanks again.

A month ago I saw original cloth skins for the H3(They upgraded to leather I guess?)I think they sold for about 150 .

They cover the entire back side of the front seats. On the back sides there is a loose open pocket to put stuff in. It gives more room then the nets. It does "hang" open. I was thinking of putting a couple of pieces of velcro to hold them shut.
The set comes with a cover for the headrests also, but I have the dvd's so they aren't being used right now. Maybe in a so-so area I would put them on to cover the dvd's.

do the back seat covers have cut-outs for the seat belts?
i was going to get them for when the dog is in the car, but i'm getting ready to enforce the seatbelt laws with the dog.
vehicle crashing with loose 65 lb. dog in back seat = not good

Yes, all the cut-outs and or openings are there for all the seat belts and the levers by the rear headrest for folding the back seats down.
That's the main reason I got ours was for the dog and the 10 year old http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I love my seat covers! but I agree that they could have been made with a thicker material. I also like the logo'd headrest covers. hides the dvd's from thieven bastids.

Check out www.cabelas.com (http://www.cabelas.com) (in the automotive section)
they have a great selection of slip-over seat covers ranging $30.00 - $250.00. I'm picking up a set! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Jp'sH3, yea, i've looked at the cabelas covers too. I'm kinda leaning that way, except i'd like to get a back seat split bench that will allow us to fold the seats. let me know what you go with and how it works out. I might have to make a trip down to the cabelas store in Dundee and get my hands on em. they have an awesome auto section in the store. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif. the problem with going there is i can't seem to leave without nearly maxing out a credit card http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif.
mudderducker, I hear ya about the thievin bastids! i've had every one of my autos broken into http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif. it makes me so mad that people can't respect others things. that's why i didn't get the special on the dvd headrests. i didn't want to give anyone a reason to break in. now i wish i would've gotten them as i'm looking into aftermarket dvd players for my little girl. i didn't think about covering them with the seat covers http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif i'm dumb.
called one local dealer yesterday and they're offering a special deal on the OEM seat covers. only 345bucks!! what a deal http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif.

I moved out to the burbs. criminals don't like to pay the taxes we got up in here. but they'll get you at the mall if they want what you have.
Cabela's!!! we make it a day trip. eat lunch there, walk every single aisle, pick up and handle every single item 'cept for maybe the womens stuff, and even some of that... what can I say, Cabela's was created for men like me. I checked out their seat covers too. I like the oem as they are designed for the h3. I did not want an ill fitting, sloppy look. however, the price was hard for me to get over. I think I paid like $320 at the dealer. two days later I saw them on ebay for $275. shop around. cabela's would be my second choice.

I have been thinking about getting some of these for that exact reason.

Mine were $275 from ebay.
has anyone considered the Wet Okole brand seat covers? They look better than the GM covers judging by the pictures I've seen. Havent seen them in person. They are on the Amstar web site and Wet Okole has their own web site as well. They look like they would be top of the line, anyone have an opinion on these? (they appear to come in more colors than just charcoal)

There was some discussion about these months ago. Several people mentioned they had had them for other vehicles and loved them.

Yea Hal, I've seen these covers for a lot of years now and have never seen any in person. Last i heard/read(can't remember where), they were special order only for the H3 at this time. who knows, they might have them patterend by now. I'll give em a call and find out a price, but i have the feeling it's gonna be pricy.

The rear covers are split and the cost was about $500 and they install them for you.
There are alot of color options.
