Who says Yellow isn't the best color? Would this look better in Pewter? The big trench the right is where I dug it out for an hour. Next time chains......(rookie mistake).

When you find chains let us know. If you check the threads on this nothing has materialized. It seems that GM specifys S-class chains but chain manufacturers are saying that they are not heavy duty enough for the H2 weight. I need them up in VT too, at least this year.

CO Hummer,

My name is Adam, and I'm heading up the CO H2 Club. Please check the events section, as we would always love to have new owners participate in events, and run trails with us.

Adam,
I've already checked it out and would like to go with you guys sometime. Actually, I read one of your threads about going to Fall River Reservoir. I'm new to 4-wheeling, so I thought would be a good idea since you guys had aldready done it. My surprise was how much snow there is up there. My H2 was surfing on the snow while the wheels were dangling and spinning in thin air! Where do you guys go up there?

Where is fall river reservoir? I've never heard of it. Good trail?

If it can break it can be fixed.

BrianFriend,
Fall River Res. is on the way to St. Mary's Glacier. Check out 4x4trails.net for details and directions. It's pretty close. I never actually made it to the end since I realized I was in over my head w/o chains. Also, my shovel broke at the end of my first extract and I didn't want to end up doing it again by hand.
COHumOwner,
Thanks for advice on the tubes. I thought about it, but figured snow wouldn't do to much damage. Can snow bend your tubes?

Fall River is not the place to go. Short road, with too much snow right now. There are places in the area that wouyld be good, but I think we've done best so far as a club at Left Hand Canyon. I think we may try Mosquito Pass on the 15th. Please join us.

Adam,
Is left Hand Canyon without snow? Doable for a rookie at this time?

Left hand canyon is usually dry and even with some snow it is still a very doable trail. Carnage canyon can be kind of rough though with snow and ice. I was up there a few weeks ago and I saw a h2 at the trail head. I was grouped with a bunch of lr.s was that one of you guys?

If it can break it can be fixed.

I could see doing it as a rookie, if you're not alone. There has rarely been snow there, and the trails up there are a lot of fun. We may try it again for our next run.
