I am looking for the Part number for the on/off switch that goes to the Roof Marker lights. To clarify that switch that goes in those holes next to the cigarette lighter.
I don't need it for the Marker lights but want it for some rear back up lights and fog lights.
The dealership here said they don't have them in stock and don't know when they will be. I want to look for them myself.

Per GM parts, last month I checked, and the switch was not serviceable. I'm sure it will be eventually, and might be right now. However, I can't access the GM parts manual from home.

I called dealer for price on those switches. The ones for the "roof marker lights" and the "fog lights" and there were around $ 45.00 ea. They told me, It would take 10 days to get them from factory in back east.
I opted for a different type of swithes, I'll post pics tomorrow.

Thanks, saves me from having to go into that stupid GM electronic part catalog. I figured someone would eventually release the switch, or the time I tried to find the number I was too tired and didn't read it correctly.

Wait a minute, these are supposed to have an on/off switch?? Mine are dealer installed and are wired directly with the parking lights/headlights and only come on when they come on. How's it supposed to come?
TIA !

Yes, outdated and hard to find anything, the way they have it grouped. I guess if I went into it more than once or twice a week, it would be more friendly. Maybe stupid was the wrong word...confusing is better. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

There is no switch for the marker lights.
They come on with the lights automatically.
88963884 Off Road Lamps Switch
(This is the one with the "UP" arrow on it.)
$23.49US
I can't find the ones for the Grill Lights
(The one with the down arrow in it)

You are correct, I guess we all assumed the off road lamps.
You say the grill light switch is different? Could this be to prevent some confusion if both were installed? I would guess (and it is a guess) that internally, both switches would be the same.

It is on page 3-17 of the owners's manual.
"The switches for the off-road lamps are located in the
center of the instrument panel below climate controls.
One switch is used for the front lower-grille mounted
off-road lamps, if equipped, and the other switch is used
for the roof-mounted off-road lamps, if equipped."
Why do they mention the grill lights if you can't get them?

My lower grille light switch is mounted by the headlight switch its a push buttton..
Or am I talking about the wrong lights?
I would like to get the to fill the void there under the ac controls for future light install anyhow.

Those are the fog lights.
The ones that are not available are called "Lower Off Road" lights.
Check the Hummer web site.
They advertise them as an option. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif
