Thamks to the information on this forum, My local dealer lifted my front end about 2 inches using the torsion bar. We did 2 turns. The look is soooo much nicer. Now it's only about 1.5 inches lower than the rear. Looks like a different H3 in my garage. The service manager never heard of this. Once it was done they were impressed. They didn't charge me for it either. Thanks for the information. This forum is great! Happy New Year

Welcome.

Alignment was checked but didn't need adjustment according to the mechanic.

How has it changed the ride?

I haven't noticed any change in the ride yet as I only drove it home from the dealer. about 10 miles. Maybe a little dipping when the bracks are applied. So minimal it might be my imagination. Sure looks better. Even when parked

How do you raise the front end?

Start by adjusting the torsion bar bolts 2 turns clockwise. Make sure you mark the bolt head and steel plate so you know how many turns you actually made. It is best to have the front tires raised off the ground. The torsion bar bolts are just under the floor of the rear seats. Front end alignment sholud be checked although some indicate no changes are needed - your call.
