I am going to be getting a new set of tires soon. I want to go to 37's...to gain the extra inch of ground clearance and I want to possibley go with Super Swampers of maybe BFG Mud Terrains.

I Live in Southern Cal. Most of my offroading is sand/rocks...Desert Stuff. I do tow a boat to Vegas and occasionally go into the snow in winter. I do not care if the tires are noisy. Any advise on a good aggressive tire that looks cool and performs awesome? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I have a set of Goodyear 37" MTR's on mine now for about 2 months. Not a lot of heavy use and no off-roading yet. Summer schedule, blah blah blah,, but soon for sure.

Handling and noise wise I can't say I see much difference than then the stocks. Stopping is a bit softer. I can't say I notice a significant noise difference. Gas mileage has not changed all that much for the worse.

I am a bit concerned about wear factor of the 37"'s as I have been running them on the street. Time will tell.

Appearance wise the larger tires make the truck look bigger, if possible.
