just wondering if anyone can tell me where I can find the speed sensor wire and reverse tap in.
speed sensor for the nav and reverse tap in so that when i put it in reverse it switches to my rear cam.
I tried to do a search for a DIY on aftermarket radios but no luck.
thanks,

There was a discussion in this forum about tapping into the rear view mirror for the back up camera. I know "f5fstop" came up with this suggestion.

Mark,
Here is the thread that Hummer Nut was talking about. http://elcova.com/groupee/forums/a/tpc/f/4871031121/m/8...651051541#4651051541 (http://elcova.com/groupee/forums/a/tpc/f/4871031121/m/8031059441/r/4651051541#4651051541)
BTW, what module did you decide to go with to retain your onstar, and etc.. ?

Mark a little info my Eclipse AVN535 NAV system would not turn the after market camera on automatically {it worked manually} when I switched into reverse even with the reverse wire hooked up. I then switched the camera to the matching eciplse camera and it works perfect. I switch to reverse and the camera comes right on.

I went with the Pioneer and Pioneer cam. They said that if hooked up with the reverse signal it will automatically switch to the rear cam.
