Will a OEM Side Step off a 2005 SUT fit a 2003 SUV? My dealer in WA says yes but a dealer in Southern Cal (where I bought the thing off ebay) says that they are not compatible. My dealership says that although the part numbers are different, they are the same specs. Anyone really know for sure?
Also, anyone know what a good set of U-Steps are worth. My U-Steps go off as soon as I get the side steps. The paint is worn in areas but no dings or scratches.

I sold my 2005 chrome bars to JMV1210 who has a 2003 and he hasn't called me about it yet. The was 3 months ago. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

The will fit all 2003, 2004 and 2005 H2's, SUV or SUT. Don't trust the dealer. I know from hands on experience, seems like I take a set off or put a set on every day! BIG-C http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Just for my info. Are the step bars of any use as rock sliders? I have thoughts of making some real sliders for H2.
Vern, you would probably be better off modifying the "rock rails" that are above the steps. I wish I had the pick, but someone here did a great job with them.
The factory steps are really low and adding anything to them would just lower them more. They are also quite weak and bend easily. I sold mine to someone that bent them on a curb. Imagine planting them on a rock. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif
