After much thought and consideration, I finally decided to go with an overhead drop down DVD/TV unit.
I just installed an Audiovox DT102 with the optional overhead docking station that hasan integrated TV tuner. WHat I liked most about it was the ability to actually remove the DVD player and us it as a desktop player.
For those of you who are interested, I posted some pictures on my site http://www.rausite.com/hummerh3.htm at the bottom of the page.

nice....i know what u mean that this installation is not for the faint of heart, that's y I opted for the the headrest monitors...much easier to replace than the headliner..... http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Very nice!
But what I'm really diggin is the neatness of your garage. My neighbors really give me crap because mine is so neat and everything has a place.
Thing I can't figure is, they have $5000 worth of crap in theirs, while $70,000 worth of vehicles sit in the driveway.

LOL! I do make a special effort to be able to get both cars in the garage. I too see alot of expensive vehicles parked in the driveway.
To answer an earlie question no, what little visability I have is completely blocked by the drop down. I rationalized this by realizing there isn’t much visibility to start with. I almost went with the headrest system and may still just for the hell of it but in the end I decided this was much more practical. Not only can I pull the DVD player loose to take anywhere I may need, but if I’m in the mood I can recline my seat all the back, push the screen almost parallel with the ceiling and relax while enjoying a movie or TV. The headrest units would offer me far less practicality for the money.
But like I said, I really do like the headrest units and may do it too.

Can you see out that well out of the rear window normally.
With the eclipse system I can turn on rear camera as im driving and you get a excellent view.
On the below pic can is 10 feet from bumper
I was joking with my wife about putting a 20+ inch screen infront of the rear window and hook it up to rear camera. At tailgate partys you can open rear door and use screen for dvd's maybee hook up tv tuner. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
