Well, it's been two weeks since I bought it and have made some changes to the LUX SUT. it came with up level chrome package, nav, and DVD headrests with wireless headphones.

First I removed as much chrome as I could and than started adding:

BFG 37" MT's
Black PC'd rims
Rancho 9000's and steering stabilizer
Warn Winch Bumper (thanks Fever)
Light bar I made for my 03 when I had it
Black brush guard
black tail lamp guards (thanks Parts guy)
Desert sand grille (thanks Parts guy)
Black mirror caps (thanks Parts guy)
bed cover
tinted front windows (getting the rears done on Tuesday)
Shifter handle
Lev-o-guage
Locking gas cap just incase of those tree huggers
still have to put the CB and antenna in and the Stealth Gobi rack.

My pewter rig was all blacked out and i loved it, as i do on your color. however on my 2 day old stealth gray sut, im starting to like the uplevel chrome package, for some reason that color really sets the chrome off. parstguy is sending me black parts, so im sure ill be back in black. i have switched from a black line-x grill to a body colored one, and again im lovin the look. your rig looks awasome, i probably hsould have gone with something like that, but i just got tired of the muted color, my next rig will no question have the black chrome from sma all over it

Looks great Timgco! I'm in seattle right now, and had a chance to check out the local dealership and the limited edition SUT. Very tempting, but I think I'll just have to stick to mine http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif.

have not got my plates yet. I couldn't stands that sheap ass plastic mount in the middle of the spare tire so I got out the sawzall and cut that part down that stick out (6") so I could put the center cap over it. I am having a bracket fabbed up that will mount to the PSSD on the bumper with a low pro llight that will just fit between the tire carrier and the bumper.

GOBI did all five rims and also had the plastic coat done to the center caps. i have seen those rimes go for $700.00 from the stealership. $60.00 to $75.00 is about average for PCing the rims. I know others have paid less and others have paid $700 + for them. You should ask your dealer for five take off rims to borrow for a few days and give him your chrome ones in return once yours are done. Than all you have to do is find someone to plastic coat the center caps.
Umounting and taking your rims/ tires all over the place will be a big PIA, plus the Powder coaters will need your rimes for a day or four. call your dealer and se if you can borrow five take offs. They may even have a pile of them out back where they just give them to you.

quick question, if you only have one set of rims, how did you get them powder coated. I heard it take a week.

I was able to borrow a set and than traded back when my new ones were mounted. A freind helped me out on this, but most dealers will have take offs around that you could more than likely borrow for a couple of weeks.

I am waiting for the Gobi rack to go on. The antennae will be mounted onto that. How far apart do they have to be? Or doesn't it matter?

What kind of ride difference do you get with the 37" MTs?? I've heard that the MTs are a little louder and rougher on the road than that ATs.

They do ride a little harder and are louder, but not by much in either respect.

I changed out the shocks and steering stablizer so it rides and handles close to stock.
