Much have been said about Hummer in the wild, on highway & on mountain roads, but Hummer is truly a perfect urban vehicle. My family of 4 was in downtown San Francisco on Sunday, Sony Metreon center, Union Square and Japan Town; all places, sidewalks and intersections were packed with people, streets were jammed with taxis, buses, cable cars and all sorts vehicles. Wonderful places to see and be seen. Hummer was at its best element in such urban setting, even more exciting than driving in the mountains or suburbs. Sudden stops, near misses, pedestrians, cops, tourists, one way streets, tour buses & crazy taxis. I could not get into the garage, but after 5 times around the blocks found street parking, usual for urban parking. Had to cross 4 lanes plus fast back up to the sweet parking space; took sharp eyes, fast thinking, snap decision and lighting move to defeated the competitions. Size does not matter, Hummer can swing into any parking spaces with ease. I think we will be going back to the City more often, I liked the obstacle courses.
