I just got my first oil change @ the dealer yesterday, but I think they forgot to reset the computer. My sut still reads "change oil" Can this be reset manually, or does the dealer need to do it.

I think You can bring up oil change monitor and then go to right bottom button on steerng wheel and press it will reset % of oil change. My dealer has so far reset Mine but, I'm fairly sure this will work. You may check owners manual to be sure.

I hope the method is better than it was on my 2001 GMC...I had to turn the key to ACC, and pump the gas 3 or 4 time within 3 seconds. I cannot remember if that was exactly it...but it was something like that, and it was lame!

Kacy,
Turn the key to on (don't start the engine) and press your accelerator 5 times in rapid succession. It might be more or less times but that's how you reset on my XL Denali.

Should be 3 times Kacy. Remember PARAGON is really into numbers and the more and bigger the numbers the more challenged He feels. You have to watch Him on this real fancy stuff like multiplying and dividing. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif
