I'm getting parts ready for the n2 installed.

Metra 99-3304 Stereo Install Kit
PAC-AUDIO OS-2
PAC-AUDIO CM1

I believe that should cover it, now for the question. When I dial a number with the onstar handsfree calling, the number shows up on the radio display, as well as displaying PHONE when using onstar, and the handsfree. Will my n2 still display this information?

Also, the OS-2 says:
The OS-2 can be used in vehicles with BOSE listed below, ONLY if the BOSE amplifier is not used

My h3 doesn't have bose, so a bose amp is not going to be used. But that's the one h3 is listed under, it's not listed under just GM supported vehicles. This will work right?

NO, no display. In fact, the radio gets shut off when using onstar. Don't forget the antenna adaptor.

Oh, that kinda sucks if you use the handsfree phone a lot. My n2 has a cellular mute wire, so maybe it won't completely shut off like the eclipses? we'll see.

And thanks for reminding me about the antenna adapter.

is that only on the N2?

Cause when I use my on-star and or phone my D1 doesnt go black... it just mutes!

I think that's only on the eclipse systems. I haven't gotten my n2 installed yet, but I would assume it would do the same as your d1, since they are almost the same.

More of a function of the interface used as that piece provides 12v switched power through a relay. The power to that relay is cut when onstar/phone is used unless the interface has a mute wire which can be used instead (there is a brown wire in a loop that must be cut if I remember correctly).
