I know it's not a pic of an H2, but they would work well for them. Built using 2x3 .125 wall Mild steel square tube

Cranky,

Do you have different angle and detailed pics?

Looks like a must have or make.

In this pic, the slider keeps the sheet metal off the door. I have slamed them over and over, and they are strong! Got hit broadside by a Nissan altima, pushed my truck sideways several feet, no damge whatsoever, 5k to the altima!

In this pic Drty posted, it looks like the H2 protection is bolted to the frame, making it a breeze to fab heavy duty sliders that sick out just enough to protect the sheetmetal on the bottom of the h2 bodys. Crash, you paying attention here? Dude, you have the fab shop to make these so easy!

Dennis, I have to dig through my digis to see if I have any good detail shots. Mine are welded directly to my frame with 4 2x3 outriggers on each side. I could have also built them as bolt on just as strong if I had wanted to. My truck is at Rivercity Differentials getting new O-rings in my rear ARB, so I can't shoot any digis today.

OK OK Me likes http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Still admire that custom cage. If you get a chance, a pic of the back end. Looks like a custom ass guard? Nice.

Those are simple, "BUT", they are still hang ups, I wonder if I have any pics of my "body" armor, they REALLY work well, protect the rockers and don't take away clearence. And steve, where is the slide I requested http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

And whats up with your arb, you should have ZERO prblems with it, heck mine was in my rig since 94 and just broke it last december..

Ya I like yours as well, but I have had no problem with hangups with mine, they make awsome pivot points.

The rear ARB's been spitting gear oil out of the valve on release, Gearman is taking care of it. I was gona pull the third, but when I called him, he said just bring the whole truck in, hard to turn that down ya know! Gearman rocks!

Slide on order for the tykes buddy .....

Cranky,
Who made your sliders? I'd love to hook up with 'em and add some better protection to my ride. Now that I've seen you're rig I'll try to flag you down some time when I see you in P'Ville. I've got a Pewter H2 w/37's and a License plate that says AMA NERD.... We'll have to get together and hit the trail one of these days.
