Just wanted to let everyone know, I finally got my MagnaCharger installed. unfortunatley when I ordered I had 35 tires and now have 37 tires, which makes my speedometer wrong and my gas milage off.
But Man it runs good. Never thought the Hummer could have so much acceleration. Worried that with that much power, I might break something when offroading.
In general I am very pleased with my new acceleration. It sure made the Hummer more fun to drive!!

Yeah Ken, they better look out. I always liked my 03 and now my 05 Hummer's. With the 38's and now the 37's they lacked acceleration. Kinda Like driving a 6800 lb brick. Not any more, I have to be light on the pedal or, it jumps out and goes.... Pulling on the freeeway in front of 18 wheelers is no longer a problem, it jumps up to 80 in the blink of an eye.

Looks good Jerry. I can't wait to see that thing in action this weekend @ Barnwell Mtn.
That's a great job! Only $5700 bucks for the charger, install and warranty. Awesome!

Great job Jerry, Enjoy it. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif If you still want to free up some pony's get rid of the stock fan and go with flex-a-lite electrics just make sure the installer installs the in cabin cut off switch for. That way when you have a deep muddy crossing to deal with. Just turn the fans off for a couple of minutes while you forge the obstacle then turn them back on. They work great. They are more efficient then the stock fan and they free up horse power and torque.
superbeast:
if you get a supercharger yes your factory warranty is gone but as Jerry has pointed out for $200 you get one from MagnaCharger also if a dealer does the install for you they will stand behind it for an additional year.

Be sure to look at the new Flex-a-Lite Black Magic Xtreme for the fan. I think KenP might have caused them to redesign their s-bladed fans to be less susceptible to damage. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
The blade tips are all connected together with a hoop and the overall design is stronger, so it can better withstand the trails. I would still switch it as suggested so you could shut it off when fording though.

Ken,
Are you talking about the fan or can an SC be disengaged by switch?
I'm worried about how an SC will react during offroading like for example, a 10 point turn on top of Lion's Back??? With all that power, will it be harder to baby the gas peddle?
Sorry, I have no clue.

You haven't received any R&D money yet? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Dennis,
We're talking about switching off the electronic fans.
As for the added power of the SC yes the gas peddle gets a little touchy but when I was in 4-low and 1st or 2nd gear dealing with the obstacles the gear reduction is so great that you'd have to mash your foot to the floor to get the truck to lunge. As for a 10 point turn atop Lions Back simply lift your foot off the brake a bit and let it idle forward you'd been just fine.
Next trip out to Moab you'll have to drive my H2. The added torque is great for getting up and over obstacles. I didn't try all the stuff you concurred but the stuff I did do I had no trouble getting over them and I believe the added torque was a big help.

Dennis,
So long as I get to ride along and video tape the experience YES you can take my H2 to the top of Lions Back.
Oh god what have I just said http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Glad to hear it won't lurch out from under me when I gas it. I was worried it would be too much power on the trail. It feels like a lot of torque on the road.

That is a screaming deal. Which dealer in Houston did it? I may have to make a trip down.
Dennis, mine is a little different than most here it seems. I have that 2800 stall so I can press the gas with little movement.
Without it, do as they said. Lift off the gas and let it idle forward. Oh, keep your foot near the brake.... http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I purchased the equipment myself. Demontron did the install. great job so far no issues.
purchased the SC from http://www.speed-eng.com/store/ Cost 4,500, also got the ceramic coated headers form them.
Had the local exhaust shop install the muffler (xtreme flow) and headers
