So I'm crawling down the 405 today through LA and I what do I see? A ceremony on the side of the fwy, on a friday, causing even more traffic than we already have. You'd think they could do this somewhere that wouldn't cause such a spectical.http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10840802/

He's done that a couple times up here. One time with no notice in a residential neighborhood. None of the residents had any idea why all these trucks and news vans suddenly showed up on their street.

Thats how Caltrans does it.....It's all about the photo op for new and completed projects. All about the positive public relations spin.
