Anybody know where I can locate a push button to go in place of the 2 blanks in the center dash?

I've seen them in a lighting how-to, but they were included with the lights. Any chance of finding just the buttons?

I saw some nice buttons at Radio Shack and even Advanced Auto Parts.

Inexpensive ones($1.99 for 2) are at radio shack I put a momentary one in for air horn it kinda matches my lighter. They also have smaller ones, different styles(look through the switch bin).
Use the find button another guy installed horn using smaller switch ,also info on factory switch.
The factory ones light up and are more costly. If they come with accessory why buy to fill hole.
Below is radio shack button also comes in on /off/red.

Yeah, I have one from Radio Shack in there right now. I picked up the 1/2" one and it's just a bit too small for it.

I'm using the button for my garage door opener, and thought if I could find just a stock looking button to put in there, that would be best.

You could mount the smaller switch in the plug than install plug ,thats what the other guy did for horn install he had pics listed

On ebay I got the high beam remote you dont have to take your hands of the wheel.

Yeah I've seen those. Except that won't really work for my situation. Only entrance to my garage is the front main door, with a keypad. The remote that came with the door opener is too big to always take with me. So I bought the dei garage door module, except that isn't compatible with 2-way remotes. I would always accidentally hit the button and my garage would open w/o me knowing.

So, I just installed my Clifford Matrix RSX 3.5 system, hooked up a relay to the trunk pop output, so I can open my garage door with my 2-way remote (no more accidental openings!). I put a button in the dash so I could open the garage door when I'm already in the truck.

And now that I think about it after checking out that thread, no factory button would work because I need it to momentary only. I guess I'll have to go button shopping later. thanks
