Lots of luck. When you find something let the rest of us know. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif Seriously, you might gain 1 or 1-1/2 mpg with air filter/intake change, performance programing, and EASY driving. That's about it. There is no silver bullet.

LV hit the nail on the head. The Volant Kit or K & N kit are the most popular air intake kits. The Hypertech Programmer is one of the more popular for "computer chips."
Good luck on search for better MPG.
As for performance, Magna Charge it! But that's not the cheapest way to go. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
Good luck.

Anyone in here have the hypertech chip? Can they tell us how much of a gain in fuel economy you got after install?
Thanks again

Yes. It's not a chip. It's a programmer. Not much fuel gain if any but a little performance gain. I say again, there is no silver bullet. You own a Hummer H2. That means 10-13 mpg at best and that's driving it easy. What little MPG increase you get from aftermarket products will take many thousands of miles to get your money back.

Jason,

These comments are spot on! The only really noticeable improvement in performance will come from a warranty-voiding supercharger. Be glad that AMG/GM have tuned your air intake, motor, transmission and exhaust to just about the best adjustment possible. I get 9 & change mpg. Now go buy some bling or electronics or a nice gift for your girl!

For better fuel economy, drive with the wind, http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif and not against it. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

The best way is to go with a custom tune, and the cheapest way to do it is pcmforless.com (http://www.pcmforless.com) It is $250 for the tune plus shipping. You will also pickup 20-30hp and the truck will shift awesome! I have picked up almost 2mpg over the last 2500 miles. This was by far an awesome way to save on a little bit of fuel.

will that void the warranty?
