I heard from another site that they are coming out with new marker lights, that is why the old ones are so hard to get. Can anybody confirm...H3builder?

Someone posted something about that here too. Not sure who it was though.

Just got the memo, and it goes for both the roof mounted off-road lamps and roof mounted marker lamps. Apparantly the way they install them MAY cause windshield damage because of the way one has to pry certain parts. They are "investigating possible fixes for this particular issue." It also has to do with the strong sealer they use to keep water out (the H2s were notorious for leaking...) Hope it gets cleared up soon.

It will be intresting to see if the H3 gets the windshield problems the H2 has had. I saw at least 5 stress cracks nt to mention the leaks.

Newbie, I'm going to Dallas Tuesday. It works out perfectly, I don't even have to give up a weekend. I've got a great digital camera, so I'll take lots of pics.

So, how much will aftermarket ones cost? And are they easy to install, or is it a dealer only type of install so they can ream you?

Firm,

Tell you what, I have family in Dallas so I will fly out tomorrow and pick it up for you. I will have it to you by Tuesday morning if you will give me a ride back to Orlando airport to pick up my truck http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Enjoy your trip. Should be a good time.
