I have been stalking you all for a month or so while trying to make a decision. I am almost 100% convinced I am getting an H3. I've been looking everywhere for all sorts of information. The question I have here is....

Are any dealers (Eastern PA) discounting the H3 or accepting GMID discounts? Personaly I was a bit disappointed that they are not allowing the GM employee discount especially since it is even mention on the Hummer site for the H3's..... But anyway... can anyone point me in the right direction?

Also..... I am looking for a GMID hok up... unfortunatly I only have access to the ford family deal.

The main reasion the H3 isn't on the GM employee discount list is that it is n 06 model not an 05, that and they will sell a mass amount of these vehicles anay way without the discoounts just because of the coolness factor.

I think we were all disappointed http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Are you willing to travel a little bit to get the discount? The saving will more than pay for the travel expenses.

the travel depends to where and for how much.

I believe Lynch in St. Louis accepts the GMID as well as Hummer of Kansas City and Sewell in Dallas.

Any GM employee, salary or hourly, can obtain up to two GMID authorization numbers per month. GMID (GM In the Driveway) is the same discount as the preferred supplier discount. As you already know, it is up to the dealer whether or not they will accept a GMID or preferred supplier discount.
(To remove any confusion, GMS is NOT GM suppliers discount, it is the actual GM employee discount, offered to GM employees or their eligible relatives. GM employees can get GMS on the H3, but again, it has to be accepted by the dealer.
If you find a dealer that will accept the GM in the Driveway program on the H3, send me an email and I can obtain an authorization number for you. I have not used any this month, and yet offered it to two other people on this forum.
Please understand that in order for me to obtain an authorization number, I must have your last name, date of birth, and last four digits of your SSN. I enter this information into the system, the system issues an authorization number which is sent to you. You take this number into the dealer, and he cross-checks the authorization number against your SSN and DOB to verify you are the right person.
So, if you find a dealer, and you are interested, email me. If you still feel uncomfortable, let me know and I can send you and email back with my GM.COM address.

I havent tried anyone yet.

The closest to me is Plymouth Meeting (Armen) or Faulkner... Emmaus is the furthest but not really far in the swing of things. I was thinking about trying Turnersville, they just got the line. But I will let you know more once my decision is made.
