I am a happy camper. New additions: 6" Fabtech lift, Corsa sport exhaust, and a new matching rim for my spare tire:
Before pic for size comparison next to the Blingscalade:

Mucho thanks to The Max (and to James for recommending them). The steering does take some getting used to, but it's so well worth it - it's like owning a new truck all over again, my heart skips a beat every time I see it!
All I have left to do is try to find ONE tire...the dealer alignment really chewed the heck out of the passenger front (now on the passenger rear). Plus there's a good sized nail in it. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Looks great!!!when I see a lifted rig I think the only hting its usually missing is brush and lamp guards. for somereason a lifted truck looks the best in my eyes with them. But the Devs sticker on the back makes it all ok with me....congrats on the upgrade!!! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Looks AWESOME Stacy!! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif We have the Corsa on our CTS-V and it sounds great, how do you like it on the Hummer? Too loud...not loud enough? That is the one thing left I'd like to get done to mine.
Did you happen to put the HD steering kit on also?

It looks really great, Stacy. Where in San Antone did you have it done? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I LOVE the Corsa. It growls from the outside. On the interior, it sounds the same as the truck does on a cold day, or when the AC has been overrun, basically. Just loud enough to let you know it's there.
I do have the steering kit, and experienced the same as you. Normal driving, like around the neighborhood and such, is fine. When you're at 60-75 on the highway tho, you have to really handle the wheel to even keep it in the lane. The installer told me this is normal until the parts get worked in, about 500 miles or so. So of course I took it through several higher speed construction zones on my way home, probably scared the crap out of half the population on that road. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif
Efrain - At The Max - on San Pedro near Loop 410. I would highly recommend them, they're not too far from you.

how much was the lift and install... Starting to price it out.

Dual shocks are about $200 more.
I agree that the 38s look good. If Goodyear starts making them, I'm there. For now, I'm very pleased with the MT/Rs - I've got about 15,000 miles on them and they show almost zero wear.

Albie, the basic lift kit is around $2200, install $500-600. The complete steering kit is around the $450 mark. Costs a little more if you go with the multi shocks up front like Stacy too.
If you change the rims/tires, epxect another $3k or so on top of everything. Wide 38's look better proportioned with the 6" lift in my view. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Thanks Phild I went to 4wheeldrive they said 5200 with the dual shocks....... I said your out of your mind.........So phil I can get the fabtech from you right.
Looks Great! Do you have any trouble getting your little Guy buckled in?

Stacy, where are the boots that cover the shocks?
devilsfan

They'll leave them off until the 500-mile retorque. I'm leaving mine off permanently - you can trap moisture in there if you take it off road. Although finding deep enough puddles is a new challenge. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I know, I know....I REALLY wanted yellow, but couldn't find them. I'll stick with performance for now...if I ever convert it to a show truck, then we'll go for the bling.
