well wilfred...i have an H3 right now but i aspire to have an h2 sut with 6" lift (like my hero Ken and Cp.. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif)....but, i do know that a 6" lift with stock rims would be ok but not 35"'s. are you going to move to 37's+???...to me 35's would look way too small.<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">Originally posted by wilfred:

Don't do it. I've seen it done. Looks hideous! I'll try and take a pic next time I see it around town...

Gotta get tires to go witrh lift if you have to go cheap use stock rims.

Though I no longer have any pics, I came across a set of MC2 chrome rims. They are the stock rims chromed with a beautiful bead lock ring around them.

I took my 38's on 20's off and installed a set of 37-12.5-17's on the MC2 rims. The rims were still beautiful but with the liftkit, the tires looked like pizza cutters.

Point is, even with 12.5" wide tires, it looked ridiculous, I can't imagine what even smaller tires would look like.

If I take my wheels off to be clearcoated, I'll install my stock set for a few days and you can see how stupid it looks with a liftkit.

HTH's,

Mark

Yeah, most people prefer the bigger tires with the lift. But I always wonder if I can get better articulation with just the lift? Besides, getting new wheels & tires will be way too obvious and for sure the wife will notice right away http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif Seriously, if anyone sees one, please take a pic for me!

No way that would look right. You really need to step up to the larger tires. Stock rims ok, but you won't be able to get any width to the track with them.
