OK, I have to admit that with how nice the weather has been here for the week I just haven't been able to walk past this to the H3. Guess I better enjoy this while the weather is still nice. I'll have all winter to play with the H3. I'm praying for lots of snow this winter!

Actually sold an '03 to get the Hummer. Still have one in pieces, and someday, I'll get the engine installed. I might even sell my Jeep someday....

Wow, sold an 03 Vette to get the Hummer? I'm guessing that the one in pieces is an older one. What year? Someday I would love to get a small block 65 or 66 to restore.

If you really get it bad, you can come down to the Ozarks and ride with me in my original owner 396 maroon '65 Vette Coupe with factory side pipes and the factory teak steering wheel. I've had it for 40 years and it's like my third son now. Used to do Bloomington and the road tours, now it gets a now and then sunny afternoon drive. It's amazing how many H3 owners have or had Vettes.

Yep, runs good and no it's not for sale at any price, and is almost as much fun to drive as my H3.

I noticed the same thing. There are more than a few Hummer owners around who also have a Vette. I spent a week and a half in and out of the dealership while I was deciding on an H3 and there were quite a few people who came in to look at H2's and H3's who drove a Vette there. Your '65 is gorgeous. Can you post a few pics in the photo section?

It's a '99, but it has been a work in progress for what seems like a hundred years. Actually, since it no longer fits into my new lifestyle, I'm seriously considering selling it to a friend in TN. He's younger, has the time, and most importantly....the money.
