I have had a MPX200 for about 2 years now and am thinking about replacing it. So do any of you have smart phones and if so which ones do you like? I want a phone with windows not a PDA with phone capabilities. I would love to get a MPX300, now just called the MPX, but not for about $1K. I almost upgraded to a MPX200 about a year ago but a friend did and has been through 3 of them because of problems. Any ideas?

Not yet a Taz length post but as with his, it was full of useful info. I have heard to stay away from the treo. Is the i930 a true smart phone and is it only for Nextel? If so, based on what I have seen, I think that is the one the GF has. I was with AT&T until the whole merger/buyout with Cingular and though I am not overly thrilled since Cingular took over I think I will probably stick with them unless the offer is incredible with someone else. Not knocking Nextel, but I refuse to go with them. I am sure they offer a great service but I am so Fing sick and tired of having to listen to that damn beep and other peoples conversations. Sorry, off the soap box now http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

That sounds like what I am looking for Steve. Do you know, are they still selling them? Have you been happy with it? Is it a tri mode phone? My MPX200 is only dual mode and the reception is poor, but livable, because of it. I will have to look into it some more. After going to a smart phone, not sure I could go back to a regular cell phone. I love being able to sync Outlook on the PC with the phone, having everything with me and I don't have to carry my iPAQ as well. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I see the SX66 is basically the size of a regular PDA. Does anyone know of a good smart phone that is not that big? One of the things I love about the MPX line is that it is the size of a regular cell phone. The MPX300 is cool because in opens either way and has a touch screen unlike the 200 and 220.

Thanks for the link. I love their phone search. The 930 looks like a good option if I choose to switch to Nextel.
