View Full Version : A Heads-Up on a solid sut audio upgrade

I have been reading posts back and forth lately from sut owners wondering what the best audio fix would be. Like myself, they seemed to feel like more bass and brighter highs would add to the H2 experience. Also, especially for H2 SUT owners, it got loud with the windows, sunroof, and midgate down. So here's my answer... I installed a set of Q-form kick panels in the front both containing a set of 6in components. In my stock tweater locations are aftermarket (kickter tweaters) and in my door I installed a set of kicker 8's with an ungodly amount of dynamat to seal the sound. In the rear I put another set of components in the stock locations. All I can say is WOW what a difference. I am happy still having my space by not having to make room (where theris is little or none anyway) for a sub box. I will include pics soon if anyone is interested but I would recomend this design to any sut owner looking for real sound quality.

Unlike my friend Tim, I don't own a groovy SUT (only a mere H2). But I'm always interested in the clever fixes people discover. So please do share.
